I have scoured the Internet looking for any information/reporting on Bender's workout with T-Wolves yesterday. Nothing. Zilch. Nada.  Not even on the T-Wolves Fan Website.  For a player of this magnitude, whose workouts are limited to 3 teams (including ours on Tuesday), this struck me as a bit odd. I need to stop obsessing, I guess.

Let us know if you find anything to post here.

Thanks. He works out in PHX tomorrow, and in Boston Tuesday. There will be a dozen stories after his workout with Danny. It is amazing how much more attention the Celtics get than certain other franchises. Visited the T Wolves blog, kind of a dead zone.

My best guess is that they don't want other teams to know that they love him. I mean, why let the Celtics or Suns know that this is your guy? That's the only explanation I can think of. And on a related note, I would expect incredibly positive leaks after Bender's workout with us on Tuesday. Whether genuine or not, Danny is going to do all he can to artificially raise the value of the pick.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

On his snapchat, he posted a picture in the Wolves locker room, with a caption in Croatian:

Google Translates to: Not bad, has nothing to progress
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

What if the Wolves want him? Could get them above Phoenix to make sure they get him?

3, 16, 23 for Lavine and 5?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
He'd be a perfect fit between Wiggins and towns.

Edit: I thought Lavine was terrible after his rookie year, but he did improve significantly this past year.

I have no interest in Lavine personally.

If he is working out for those teams it could be 3 work outs for each in all. Wolves, Suns and C's have had reps at player practices at each others facilities before. So they may team up for more looks.

My argument for Lavine is simple. Remember Jordan Crawford? Lavine is a better version of Crawford. Look what CBS did with him.

Plus, he shot about 39% from three last year. That would be a huge help for us. We could trade back, get Lavine, and get Brown/Chriss/whoever.

Hell no!  Lavine is not worth the difference between 3 and 5, no less us throwing in the rest of our 1st round picks.

I might consider #3 for Dieng and #5 though.

It's no surprise that workout results were kept hush-hush, especially if T-Wolves like Bender.  They don't want to be put over a barrell by DA when they come calling, if Bender is there at #3.

I like LaVine too. I would be very happy with trading down for LaVine and 5, and taking someone like Brown at 5

I second this trade with the T-Wolves and I would sweeten it to make it happen.

#3 and KO for  Dieng and #5
