Woj Lebron Article - Something to Consider with Potential Love Trades

Now, Woj has long not been on the Lebron bandwagon, and for good reason. I think the Decision rubbed him the wrong way (justifiably), and he's been critical of him ever since.

However, this article is important due to its implications. He's essentially saying that winning a title this year would give Lebron a free pass to leave again without ruining his legacy. The noise has steadily grown that Lebron really doesn't want to be in Cleveland the rest of his career. I think there are two reasons for this: A) he really wants to play with his friends in Paul, Melo, Wade, etc., and B) he wants to go to a place where he has the opportunity to play with them AND win titles. I think he knows that type of team will never happen in Cleveland, and I think him and Gilbert still have an awkward relationship after him leaving the first time.

But this is important for us for several reasons. First, it would most likely mean him moving west and out of the Eastern Conference, probably somewhere like the Lakers. I can't really think of a team in the East that he'd do this with, and I'm not sure he'd join the Heat again. Second, it would make an easier trip to the Finals for us AND help us with our pursuit of a game changer like Love.

Ultimately, I don't see Lebron leaving until 2017 anyways. I'm betting he will try and join up with Paul and/or Wade somewhere in LA, but moving now doesn't make sense, especially if they lose on Sunday. He won't really be able to find a better team and path to the Finals next year than he has in Cleveland, so it'd make no sense to move yet.

But imagine (ughh) that he does actually bring Cleveland a title either on Sunday or next year, what do you see him doing in 2017 with the major free agent market that summer?

Well, you know what I mean. He'd undoubtedly be much better here without two ball-dominant, iso-heavy offensive players to play with.

Nothing new just saying Love would likely be sent West over East. As well as Love may not go if LeBron is leaving to Miami/LA. What is the bigger news is that its becoming more than just rumor and very creditable that If LeBron wins a ring now he will leave Cavs on good terms haven got them a ring.

Can't really see LeBron leaving Cleveland again, especially if they win it this year. Also, as long as he's in the East, he's basically guaranteed to make it to the Finals.
