I get them from popcornmachine.net and they are based on ALL SIX Finals' games played thus far.

OK, how about I use +/- when Barnes has been on the floor in the Finals???

Here are those numbers starting with Game 1 and progressing to Game 6:  +7, +11, -24, +6, -8, and -20.

That means, that while in the court in the NBA Finals, Barnes is a minus 28.

Seriously, though, he would make us better. Who else do you plan to spend the money on? Sorry, but KD is not walking through that door. One can argue till blue in the face that we haven't attracted FAs because we didn't have the cap space... yet there's absolutely no reason to believe anyone is joining our scrappy, overachieving team any time soon. Heck, I doubt Barnes would. Why would he?!

I'd much rather start Crowder than Barnes (I doubt I'm alone with this), and Barnes isn't going to go from starting for a contender to coming off the bench for a slightly above-average team, money be [dang]ed.

Pending a miracle trade swing by Ainge, the Celtics are better off using money that could be spent on Barnes on guys who are much cheaper but would add much more value combined like Crabbe and Hibbert.

You've taken a sentence of a longer post out of context. Barnes is not Gordon or Villanueva... so I'm failing to see the connection here. He literally just turned 24 years old and would likely be the 2nd best player on our team (and the other is 5'9").
