His handles and passing are much better than most people will give him credit for and IMO at his age, he has better handles than Durant did at the same age.
Ingram is quick, agile, and can handle the ball. I really bet he plays a good amount at the 2. And that's the difference between he and Durant, he's a mix of Durant and T-Mac...but especially while he is bulking up I expect him to play a lot of 2.
I might give you his underrated passing ability, but he is neither agile nor quick. Not even close. I know that I've said this in another thread, but Ingram's 'quickness', lol, is kind of like Austin Daye meets Kyle Anderson - not good. Yes, Ingram is the better leaper than either of those two guys, but, I mean, Jamal freaking Murray blew by him for a layup and Ingram didn't even bother to try and recover to block Murray's shot, although I'm not sure that he could have done so, lol.
I'm with Crimson - I've never seen the Durant comparison, myself, although I'm probably wrong, and if he actually puts on weight, if that's even possible

, it's only going to slow him down even more, right? So the question then becomes who can he guard at the next level? He's much too slow for either of the wing positions, and if he has to play any 4 with even the most minimal of post skills, he's liable to be snapped in half, lol.
Meanwhile, there's this 6'9 214 lb 23 year old white senior from Iowa named Jarrod Uthoff who is just as springy as Ingram albeit much quicker, and yet some scouts question his athletic ability

. Why? Please don't tell me that it's just because one dude is an older white guy and the other is a one and done at Duke. #whitemencantjump
