Ford: Sixers can't get top 5 pick for Okafor; Noel has more value

I can see Bulls trading Rose for Okafor.

I would do that.  Rose is one of the few players in the NBA who I'd see as being more of a useless disaster then Okafor is.

I wouldn't do that trade if I were Philly, even if they do need a PG desperately.  I'd definitely take Okafor over Rose right now.

I'm not sure why people are so shocked by this - I've been saying it the whole time. 

Maybe Ford is getting his info from Ainge and saying Okafor is only worth the #6 pick while Noel has "more value" to prepare us for a #3 pick for Noel trade.

#3 for Noel would be an absolute disaster.  I'm imagining Bender in a few years vs a Tyson Chandler type.  Not nice.

Funny that both teams will want the other to throw something else in. That will be what scuppers it. Good trade though. Funny to watch Rose be their bench point guard

Welp if Mr. Ford is correct (previously having suggesting the Hornets trade #6 + extra assets for Okafor)... if he says now that Noel has "more value", he must be saying Noel is worth a higher pick than #6.   So perhaps he's prepping us for #3 for Noel.
