This kid has a good frame.  6'11 , 7'3 wingspan, 234 pounds.   Pretty good mobility and underrated explosiveness.  Skilled.   Nothing stands out at the moment but nothing is broken. He can shoot, handle a little, pass,  can score around the post,  block shots, rebound a little.   He has to get stronger but again has the frame to fill out.  This should help him become a better rebounder (got pushed around here and there).   Also he can touch up on his jump shot but the mechanics look good

High upside imo.  Could be there at 23

Jessica Camerato: Stephen Zimmerman (@Stephen Zimmerman) worked out with the Sixers today. He still has to work out for the Bulls, Clippers and Celtics. – via Twitter JCameratoCSN

Here's a guy who had Bender-type hype one year ago.

I rather pick Zimmerman at 23 or even 16 than to pick Bender at 3

I like him, and was surprised that he's been mocked in the 2nd round in most mocks.

Apparently there is an injury concern (or a team leaked this in hope he slips). Supposedly Denzel Valentine is slipping for the same reason.

UNLV’s Stephen Zimmerman is said to have medical concerns, which is likely why most teams have him in the second round, despite his potential as a late first-round talent.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

But what is it? LOL

some team definitely wants him to drop to them.

Danny is too smart to let him slip because of a "lie" "rumor"

If he does slip a lot I think it will mean that a lot of teams passed on him due to medicals. I don't think teams would drop him based on a rumor without getting the medicals.

It does make me question how much the rumors effect mocks though.

I'd just as soon, if not sooner take a ride with Diamond Stone from Maryland. Seems like he's got a good frame, quick feet and the ability to blossom in time.

Stone and Jones lack perimeter skills or motor runs hot and cold

Not a good fit under  CBS imo

He had a twisted knee earlier this season but this doesn't sound like it should be a long-term issue.

Yeah, he might be a good get...he was apparently hindered by the UNLV situation.

So he could develop into a nice rotation player.
