So was think that this could be a possible trade between the three teams and just putting the rumors together and saying that Philly would get picks and such, Bulls would bet Okafor and other pieces and we end up with Jimmy Butler. Would would everyone think of that? Gives us a shot to go after Horford and Durant with saying we could have a super team of

Butler
Jae
KD
Horford

Can we even afford all of Horford-Butler-Durant?

I get that we are sending back salary as well to get Butler so that is covered, but Durant+Horford will still cost about 50M in cap space, which eliminates re-signing Turner or keeping Jerebko probably.

If Livingston is proving something to us, it's that for a championship team, Turner off the bench with his ability to create his own shot is valuable. Jerebko's versatility at 5M/Year is also a big plus.

And no draft pick is going to come in and automatically replace Turner for at least the next few years.

Thanks a lot. Yeah I read that thread before.

It is complicated though so that's why I question whether it's a realistic possibility lol.

Maybe we can pray Horford takes near-max and not max to form a Big 3 and convince him?

I've been talking about 3 way deal for awhile. It makes a lot of sense. Okafor gets a chance to go back home and become a local star. They also get a legit starter in Bradley. Philly gets Dunn. Celtics get Butler. I hear a lot people here saying Butler isn't that much of an upgrade over Bradley and I disagree. I like Bradley a lot but he's not a dynamic scorer (and never will be in my opinion). Butler on the other hand can score at will on any given night. You need guys like that if you want to go far. If you pair him and Thomas with another elite player you can do damage in the playoffs. Crowder is no slouch either.

If Durant and Butler go to the Celtics I don't see that as not a possibility for Horford. He strikes me as a guy that wants to win and takes other things into account over money. Who knows though. If not, I like a guy like Ian Mahimni instead for less money.
