To 76ers: 16, 23, 31, 35 and 2 future 1sts
To Celtics: Okafor

Since the 76ers are in rebuilding mode on a yearly basis, you think these many picks could temp them to make a trade with the Celts?

Maybe if we throw in a prospect like Rozier, but since almost all those picks have such a low success rate historically my guess is philly hangs up. They probably wouldn't wanna trade a pretty certain 20+ ppg big man (no matter how outdated some may claim his game to be) for a bunch of picks that may end up with nothing to show for them. The way most front offices see it, I think, is quality>quantity.

another team can come up with a better offer than that.

That's a boatload of picks.  I'd probably include a Bradley, Smart, or a Rozier type and pull back some of the future and seconds round picks.

Not unless Philly enjoys being lowballed.

So, Ainge would make every single selection on Draft Night on behalf of PHI, and then make the trade official in July?

No.  Most of the picks are of little significance.

Only if you want to give up a Brooklyn 1st in 2017/18. Something i would do immediately.

This I've actually been wanting. I think taking Bender and Okafor on the same frontcourt is a perfect fit for the next decade.

I was with you until the "2 future 1st". 4 first round picks and 2 high seconds is an exceptionally high price to pay. And I would hope the future firsts do not include the Brooklyn picks, then not just no but heck no.

I doubt they do it and I hope to God we wouldn't. Not sure I want Okafor to begin with and I sure don't want to give up future 1st rounders unless they are in the 20's.

Its the risk you think about taking

You cant keep drafting 4 plus players year after year. I dont want to become the 76ers

I really hope we get Okafor. He has much more potential than people like to think and he is massively undervalued right now.....time to strike

Then don't trade for their players.
