Murray drained 79 out of 100 long range attempts.  That's a new Celtics workout record.  And the best part about that article is his attitude -- he's not afraid to come in and compete against the likes of IT, AB, Smart, etc.  Unlike Dunn who reportedly doesn't want to come because he's afraid he wouldn't get the playing time.

Not to mention Murray can shoot the rock!  Murray > Dunn imo in both intangibles and skills.  Dunn might be more athletic but he's older, doesn't want to be here, and does he really offer anything different or better from Rozier and Smart?

I could live with picking Murray but I think in the ideal world, we find someone to trade up for Bender, get something for that, and then get Murray with a later pick.

I have seen film of him shooting 3pt drills.  He has a very low release.  Kind of brings the ball down to his waist before shooting.  My only concern.

I don't think I watched Kentucky all year so I can't really comment on Murray, but I will tell this cautionary tale.  When I was in high school my coach let me burrow his coaching tapes to instruct other coaches.  On the Bobby Knight one, he had Steve Alford doing the shooting drills.  They went for probably 30-45 minutes through drills and Alford touched iron maybe twice the whole tape.

I thought, that guy will be unstoppable in the NBA, he never misses.  Well, it isn't so easy when people are guarding you and there is the whole defensive side thing.  You always have to pump the brakes a bit when dealing with shooting against air.

On the other hand, Wiltjer held the previous record and I've been saying he is someone the C's should go for early in the second round.  6-10 guys who can shoot like that don't come around often.
