I think AB is a bargain and will probably continue to be that throughout his entire NBA career. He reportably is unhappy about his current contract though. I don't think he strikes me as a guy who is going to demand max money any time soon though. When trying to build a team he is a nice piece to have but also depends on what he is looking for as far as a deal. I think he is a team first guy and realizes where his contract has to stay.
This quote is from back in january. There hasn't been a whole lot of talk regarding his contract situation since
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/report-celtics-avery-bradley-unhappy-with-contract-situation/Avery Bradley has changed agents from Mitchell Butler of the Rival Sports Group to Rob Pelinka, who also represents Kobe Bryant. Butler was able to procure the oft-injured Bradley a four-year, $32 million contract extension last summer, considered an above-market deal. Now Bradley is apparently unhappy with his contract, especially after seeing players such as Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton (five years, $70 million), Utah’s Gordon Hayward (four years, $61 million), and Cleveland’s Tristan Thompson (five years, $82 million) cash in with lucrative extensions, making Bradley’s deal appear to be a bargain with the new television money increasing the salary cap this summer.
I could see that going to about 12 mil a year. I don't care about that number overly either. It's more how it fits under the cap as far as adding other players. I think that deal is reasonable where we can still do that. Isaiah also is going to want to get paid too though. Probably more than that as well. Isaiah is probably going to be an 15-18 million dollar player the way he keeps playing.
AB is an underrated SG in the nba but is injured a lot so far in his career. He doesn't deserve to be paid more than the Middleton's or Hayward's of the world.
