They are proclaiming him as the new breed of NBA big man.

I hope the Celtics take him.

Other news about him.

His team was eliminated in the playoffs, so he should be here for his workouts soon.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

He is really fun to watch.  Seems like a smart player.

Wow. I like that breakdown a lot more than the other one. The other one didn't have as many examples of his defense and passing.

Maybe someone can remind me where I saw this, but it seems like several times CBS has talked about how he prefers bigs who are two-way players, smart, and skilled. Where/when was that?

I think Bender is our guy.

At this point it's hard to see who else is a better option at #3. Bender has his weaknesses but there is no reason that he can't be a similar type of two-way player as Draymond Green. Almost everyone else (except maybe Poeltl and Dunn) has serious weaknesses that could prevent them from becoming above-average NBA rotation players.

All weakness videos make people look bad, but Bender's weakness video was downright painful to watch.

I liked his strengths though. Especially the passing.

I agree with this.

It's easy to imagine Bender looking pretty ineffectual against any kind of contact his first couple years in the league.

He'll be fun to watch operating in space from day one, but I imagine his jumper will take some time to become consistent (much like KP's), and he will have a hard time doing anything when opponents put a body on him.

I agree. I also think he has potential to be a unicorn type of player in a few years.

C's can draft him , long as they swing for the fence with Maker.

Between the two ...one will plan out.

Let's throw in Zhou in the 2nd round as well.

He looked SO quick.  Man...7'1" and he moves so well.

Of course, he can't bang down low right now...but on the perimeter defensively...WOW!
