Here's a guy who offered Charlotte three 1st round picks for last years #9 pick in the 1st round so he could draft Winslow. The Hornets turned down a #3 over all pick plus another two possible future lottery picks just to draft Frank Kaminsky. Does anyone think the Hornets regret that decision ?

What's that say about Danny Ainge ? A little crazy ?

Does that show teams are afraid to deal with Danny or does it show that future picks are not valued so much ?

It means Michael Jordan is still a lousy manager.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

This years Brooklyn was never rumored to have been offered.  The likely offer was 2015 #15 from Atl., #16 and #28 from the Celtics, plus 2018 Brooklyn.  Their were plenty of other rumors as to what was offered none included this years Brooklyn.

I'd rather have the picks than Winslow or Kaminsky. Danny has expressed his regrets over his moment of madness.

Well I am glad he came back to reality there. That's why I don't see him trading out of the 3rd pick unless its someone throwing Paul George on his lap. He's not gonna give up more then the 3rd pick for anyone. That's my take.

If you saw Kaminsky play at all this is an easy answer.  He can get better but not that much better.

Also as far as doubting the picks value, Charlotte seemed to turn it down because they decided on Kaminsky and didnt even scout guys after that.  Goes to show what Ainge was dealing with.

I like Winslow but goad it didnt happen.

I think Charlotte regrets not pulling the trigger on that trade every day and I'm glad they didn't.

Yeah I think so... just about as much as picking Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison

What they must regret is not taking Winslow.

Haha TP for the obvious. N I cannot believe they didn't take him either. Another reason im afraid of picking Bender at 3. I'm not yet convinced this international is the best pick. I'd feel 100% comfortable picking Murray at 3. I do like Brown and Heild to. Not sold on Dunn (as far as the log jam at the position) though. Bender and Dunn are the odd man I out on my mock draft. Murray, Brown then Heild in that order. Chris is climbing the ranks but I can't see him going before 6-7

I read elsewhere that they regretted it the day of the draft... After rejecting the offer and selecting Kaminsky they tried to trade him for the package of picks, but were turned down. A Google search might find that article floating around...

I think they regret not drafting Winslow, Myles Turner, or Devin Booker more than anything.

The offer was for 6 picks. Four of which were firsts rounders. Presumably 16,28,33,45 last year which was Rozier, Hunter, Mickey, Thorton plus two future firsts.

If Ainge offered any Brooklyn pick than he's an idiot. I'd like to think he's not. So what could have been the two additional first's.

Presumably Dallas and The Celtics own picks this year. So glad Jordan is inept.

Many of us would be thrilled right now if we had traded last year's 16, 28, 33, 45 and this year's 16 and 23 for Justise Winslow. He probably would have been an All-Rookie First Teamer for us, and we would be set at 3 with him and Crowder. I would bet against any one of those six picks having a better career than Winslow, although I certainly hope I am wrong.

They were not prepare to use 3 rookies spot last year.
And I think they had no clue who to take with those picks.
They knew they got better value but they were not prepare for such trades and they stick to their plan.
Nothing wrong with that.
It got nothing to do with who won and who lose that trade.
