GS goes back to back and then we are coming after this year with Durant coming here.  It could happen. I feel like Cleveland is primed this  year but they don't get it done this year man.

I don't think they win it this year. Last year GS didn't have any championship experience and I think that means a lot in the rematch.

GM James will be busy this summer if they don't win. Irving for Paul and Love for Anthony would give him a more "championship ready" team in his eyes

Last year, Lebron didn't have Kevin Love or an healthy Kyrie.  Despite that, Lebron still singlehandedly took them to task.  GSW is not winning jack.

Is Cleveland going to play that grind it out style that gave them a puncher's chance? Better keep Love on the bench to bring in more of Mosgov. GS matches up very well with Cleveland otherwise.

Yeah I get that but what that also means is less touches for Lebron. Love will be useless in the series with Draymond on him and Irving is going to try and outscore Curry which I doubt will be smart. Which leads us back to Lebron who will have to be superhuman again when last time that wasn't even enough

If Draymond gives Love the same looks that Ibaka got, he'll get torched.

Cavs have a good chance to win. Also never know how injuries will come into play.

Sure, what's a multiple game suspension?

Trying to outscore curry is hard enough when he has a good defender on him, having Irving out there to try to play D is gonna let Curry have a field day.

It's not like they an hide Irving's defense on another player, either.  He'll get torched
I'm bitter.

I see your point, and many others make it too on the internet, but LeBron apart who had Finals experience in the Cavs?
iirc (I did not have the time to go thru each player's bio) the GSW players had more playoffs experience.

Of the core guys I think the only finals experience was Lebron and Marion. They had James Jones, Brendan Haywood, Kendrick Perkins and Mike Miller as well. Really only James and Marion played a large part.

My point was more that Golden State were there for the first time. This time they come back stronger than before with a better idea of what it will take. I think people give the Cavs the credit that they will be better because they will be healthy but don't give Golden State the credit that they are a more experienced and more complete team this year.

The Cavs will be better than last year but I think the improvements in Golden State keep them ahead

I for some strange reason see Lebron blowing out Curry in 4-5 games. Not even tryin to be a pain in the @$$. YEa  it was Toronto and i shoudln't get worked up , whatever!! IF thunder  had 1 decent  above average  3 point shooter in the game,  they wouldve upset GSW . Cavs got the size and they d@mn sure got the shooting. I highly doubt Lebron is going to let history repeat itself.

This is a career  establishing series for  Curry

This is possibly a career/rep ending series for Lebron

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I know GSW has recently looked beatable and Cleveland has been on a path of destruction, but I worry about a Cleveland team where Lebron doesn't have full control. If Kyrie and Love are demanding touches and not performing, it could actually go worse for the Cavs this year.

The only way I see the Cavs winning is if Lebron makes Kyrie and Love role players, as those two as spot up shooters and cutters are definitely better offensive options than what they had last year.
