He had a bad year stuck in a bad situation. He has really suffered the last couple years. He's got talent and can be a defensive game changer in the right situation. But he's so slow and not very good on the offensive end at this point in his career.

He'll find an 8-10 million dollar contract somewhere. I don't see him fitting with us however.

at this point, I think he's looking at being a backup center until he can show he's more than that.  would be fortunate to get an offer around 7-9 mill for a couple of years on a make-good deal

I wouldn't want to rely on him for more than 10-15 minutes a night.

ZERO. He doesn't fit it into the current NBA.

Less than sully.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

How dare you put "Roy Hibbert" and "value" in the same sentence.  ;D

I see someone offering him a one year deal for $8m with perhaps a team option for the 2nd year.

He's only 29. But his numbers have dropped 4 straight seasons and he simply doesn't look very interested in the game. But if he wants to play someone will give him an opportunity and $8m is pretty cheap with the new cap. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cs give him an opportunity.

This is the way I see him too.

He'll probably be able to save face by ring chasing though.  "What I went through in LA was horrible, no amount of money can compensate for losing, I don't even care about the money I just want to be on a winning team."

If he accepts it, he'd be a great 2nd/3rd string backup on a contender.  When your team goes small you're going to sit, but if your team needs to clog the lane and slow it down you'll get some minutes.  Helps that he can hit free throws too, throw him in there when a team wants to play hack-a-shaq with the starting C without losing any shot blocking.

I think he's on that JaVale McGee level of value right now.  A few teams will have interest, they just won't want to pay him.  You've already out earned most people in your draft class despite being drafted #17, go be the 2nd/3rd string Center on the Spurs for the vet minimum and be happy winning.
