Pardon me if this was posted elsewhere. I'm not here as often these days.

Maybe Simmons or Ingram slide?

Probably not as Sixers and Lakers both likely need to show some improvement, but we have time to develop this kid.

That's terrific. If Bender really rises to the point that he is in the same conversation as Simmons and Ingram the value of our pick skyrockets.

I think there's a probably a 25% chance that Ingram or Simmons slides to us. And I may even feel a pang of disappointment if Bender is not available to us.

Just due to his measurements and potential and awesome name.

Read this recently. Changed my stance on Bender, think he's definitely the pick at #3 and that we should keep him unless an offer is too good to refuse. Plan to make a post about it soon.

No offense, but if you have a right to post multiple threads about selecting Sabonis with the #3 pick, others certainly have a right to post about why they think Bender is a viable #3 pick.

Now I'm salivating at the chance of nabbing one of Simmons/Ingram more.

Yep, I'm sold lol

He definitely seems to have a high character, and he seems like a very, very mature 18 year old. I think he'd be a perfect fit in Boston.

Man, the more I learn about our possibilities with Bender, Murray, Hield, etc., the more I like each one of them! Bender definitely has the highest upside, though. I can't wait until he works out for us. I want to see what Danny and Brad think of him.

I'm starting to warm up to the guy and with any luck, he'll play so impressively in the workouts that the Lakers will draft him and leave us Ingram.

Guy can dream can't he?

you don't seem to get the importance of this. It is not whether we get Ingram or Simmons, the important thing to take from this article is that this just became much more than a two player draft.

Oh no, I get the importance. I said I was warming up to the kid and if there's anyone who I hope to get with the third pick, it's him.

However, that doesn't mean I don't like Ingram more.

I would be so happy of Danny just picked him.

The importance of this goes further though. We have had a few articles on Bender, word on the Murray shooting drill 25-27, I'm expecting Hield to put out something soon. The more interest these guys gather the more important that #3 pick becomes in a trade. That's still DAs first option.

He's stated before that he doesn't intend to use all the Nets picks. I think in the back of his mind is the fact that the 2017 draft is deep with top talent so maybe he can use the 2018 pick and this year to go get a star

After reading about his brother, I wonder if Dragan plays so few minutes by choice in order to minimize his probability of suffering an injury prior to being drafted?

I don`t think so.
He doesn`t (shouldn`t) have any say in this. It is (should be) coach decision.
Besides his mpg have increased the last couple of months
