Tier 1 - Very good potential

Simmons
Ingram
Bender

I think Bender belongs in this group. He isn't getting the same hype because he is overseas and didn't really play last year. He is the same thing as porzingis this past year though.  I liked Bender the best even over Ingram and Simmons because of style and size anyways.

Tier 2 - Upside potential outside of the big 3

Brown

Tier 3 - Shooters and fringe allstar caliber players

Hield
Murray

Tier 4 - Other options and good college players. Trade options.

Ellenson
Dunn

Tier 5 -  upside drafted late lottery potential slides to 16

Davis
Luwawu

Tier 6 - Roleplayers with upside potential sliders

Brice Johnson
Skal Labissiere

We have the 3rd pick so I'm pretty thrilled.  I don't see guys like Luwawu or Davis getting that high although I think they will be gone by the time 16 roles around.  I'd probably rate them the next tier and hope they slide.  I think Brice has a chance to slide maybe

I keep forgetting Sabonis and POeltl but I think they are somewhat overvalued this draft. Especially with some of the other bigs going later who have as much potential. Thon Maker is a project.  Not that  high on him.  There are other big men too and some euro's as well.

Some team will take these guys higher but as far as value this draft bleh. Even Ellenson is overrated that way.  He had a good college season that wasn't that efficient.

There are big men later in this draft where chad ford hypes up these big men that end up like Cole Aldrich and Tyler Zeller or the list goes on of guys like that.

Every year teams take big men that end up like that. Don't tell them that though...

I think Skal has more potential than anyone on the list minus Bender, Simmons and Ingram.

I like Skal but I'm not that high on him. I like Davis better. I think Davis has the biggest chance to be whiteside this draft.  Skal has skinny legs and is more a pf/c. he reminds me of the guy the bucks had there.  Larry Sanders in ways. he is undersized but a really good leaper shot blocker with no passing but underrated post game.

Skal is a worthwhile lottery pick because of his ability to block shots and as a roleplayer though.  I like him better than these other bigs they are hyping up for sure.    Honestly every year.  Chad Ford. Cole Aldrich mediocre big men. Better big men and overlooked ones end up going later.

I also rate Brice JOhnson as valuable because of his ability to change games.  He is similar and on the tier with with Skal to me. Brice is like an athletic jerebko to me.

I am hoping a guy like that slides to 16.

Sabonis or poeltl would be a good pick at 16  imo. Good energy guys who work hard and could slide.  I actually like Sabonis and Poeltl this draft. Better than Cole Aldrich or Tyler Zeller. I'd take eitehr over Zeller.  I just don't value them that much. Average centers are meh to me.  I feel like Sabonis and Poeltl have potential though to be better than average.  Better than Tyler Zeller.

You might find and Alex len there but I more feel like they are more cody zeller or guys like that.  Some teams are full of players like that that are good college players but end up being mediocre pros.

I would say its
Tier 1 Ingram, Simmons= elite prospects, likely stars. (2)

T2 Murray, Heild, Dunn= productive players with potential, good chance to be stars. (5)

T3 Bender, Lab, Korkmaz= multi tool players with potential, small chance to be stars ( 8 )

T4 Brown, Ellenson, Poeltl, Sabonis, Valentine, Chriss= excellent in some key things. good chance to be a starter level player. (14)

T5  Is the small chance to be starter level but that is about 10 guys so not going into the guys just yet. (24)

T6 would be bench guys about 16 total. (38)
T7 is D- league or Europe likely player (end)

I think that of all the players in the top ten, the riskiest pick of them all is Jaylen Brown and it's not close.  That sounds like a bad ESPN hot take from Skip Bayless or something, but man I really don't like that kid's game.

I think Bender is more appropriate in 4th tier at best. Just based on his skill set and what he has shown thus far.

You can't even say 'potential' HOFers on any draftee at this point.  That's silly.

I guess, yeah. It seems less silly than throwing around superstar comps imo
