I´d have to say yes. Considering the star potential of the top 2 picks, I just don´t believe that the Lakers or 76ers would give that up for a high-risk player like Cousins. Considering that I don't think that Danny would've given those picks up for Cousins either if the balls had bounced Boston's way tonight.

If SAC wants to move on from the Cousins era, this is their highest value opportunity before he reaches free agency. I think dangling a package centered around the 3rd pick + future picks would be the closest that either team gets to a deal.

Personally, I would do it in a heartbeat.

The lakers definitely would give up their pick to get cousins.

If the Kings want to go all in on a fresh rebuild, the lakers have an incredible offer.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Just had to throw in the proposals from the Kings blog

Proposed trade #1
Cousins -> Celtics
Bradley + Olynk + 3rd + 16th -> Kings

Proposed trade #2
Cousins + McLemore -> Celtics
Bradley + Olynk + Zeller + 3rd + 16th + 35th ->

No, the Lakers will trade the #2 for a star like Cousins. The Lakers want an instant return to relevance. Not more kids who will need years and years to develop.

My sentiments exactly, Lakers know all they need is Cousins and then they could easily attract top free agents like DeRozan, Conley, Horford ect. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw in Clarkson or Russell.

I think the only thing stopping a trade would be Walton wanting to develop a young team without ego.

 :( :( I just ran a Sac - Lakers trade through the trade machine and Lou Williams, Randle, Russell and the 2nd pick for Cousins matches perfectly and makes sense for both parties unfortunately. I know there is some animosity between the two teams but don't know how a deal like this could be ignored for Kings.... :( :(

If the Kings got #2, Randle and Russell for Cousins, they would have to pull the trigger.
