The draft is a month away. Maybe Bender, Dunn, Murray, Brown or Heild catch fire and move ahead of Simmons or Ingram. I know there is about a zero percent chance of that happening but then again at this time last year I would have never guessed the Lakers would end up taking Russell over Okafor.

As disappointed as some people are tonight---I think that this No.3 pick is gonna gain a lot of value over the next month---as teams go through the workouts.

Everyone knows Picks 1 and 2 will be practically impossible to trade for...so, maybe Danny is in a good position.

Maybe Danny can trade down with Phoenix (3/16 for 4/13)--and take Murray and Skal...then take Maker with number 23....wouldn't be bad at all....I dunno---but there Will be lots of chances to make a deal.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

In the next two to three weeks there will be talk of Murray pushing Simmons.

I can see it

Watch his game against Duke. Watching him in the pick and roll and without the ball. I have to think Stevens is pretty pumped at the thought of coaching him.

I bet after workouts Murray will be the clear cut BPA. Tons of potential, which would be great for us to keep him as a player and great for the value of #3 should we trade it

He struggled with Kentucky's dribble drive offense early in the season. When they moved away from that and used more traditional sets and ball screens later in the year, his performance really took off. Murray's strength is exactly what this team needs. The man can shoot the ball like crazy.

Am I the only one confused by Ford thinking the Celtics would go after Murray? I'm a draft-the-best-player-available guy but is he that much better than anyone else in that tier that they're going to take another combo guard with Thomas, Bradley, Smart, and Rozier on the roster already?
Murray could take some of Turner's minutes. I think he's immediately a better scoring option than any of our guards not named Isaiah.

He's a deadly shooter who, can get himself open off the ball. He's a crafty scorer well beyond his years. I think he eventually will learn to score off the dribble but right now he can help us with his shooting.

I'd rather trade the pick but if we can't reach a deal I would be very happy with Murray.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'd be happy with Murray or Hield if we end up making the pick. I think Stevens can make some three guard lineups work with Smart and Bradley, so I think there will be minutes to go around even if we don't make any trades and the idea of Thomas and either Hield or Murray on the court at the same time seems pretty exciting offensively.

My dream scenario with no trades:

3) Hield or Murray
16) Valentine
23) Maker

I hope we don't take Murray.    I see teams like Phoenix and Orlando draft guards year after year and where does that get them.  I think people are silly sleeping on Bender. There is risk involved but you have a chance at a superstar player.

Bender's upside is as high as anyone in this draft if not higher.  He could bust but it's like saying don't take KG because he's a highschooler.

There is that chance.  I don't agree with those who say there isn't either. He has a chance to be as good as if not better than anyone in this draft.

How many franchise players have been European?

Dirk?
Beat me to it. To for speed.

I think we could say Kobe ended up being a quality starter in the NBA  too right?

His defense is concerning. He's a hard worker though so hopefully his lack if athleticism is made up for by hard work.

The thought of watching another guard we draft sit on the bench while the front court throws up all over themselves makes me want to throw up.

LOL. TP. I kinda feel the same way.
