Simmons wants to be a laker and is shooting with the wrong hand.  Ingram is still a poor man's durant at best.  Bender no one knows.  Murray has been a popular choice of late but do we trade Marcus then?  Jaylen Brown Ainge went to see and could secretly covet.  Hield was a popular choice at first and we need shooting has kind of quieted a bit.

It doesn't matter who we want, it's more who Ainge decides is the best guy for this team.

I think Ingram is probably someone who Ainge would want say if we get the #1 pick. Someone who works hard and gritty. If Lakers and us gets top 2 pick, I can see...actually I WANT TO SEE, another Celtics and Lakers rivalry between the two picks.

Danny the type of guy to take Brown top 2 smh.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Yeah it REALLY scares me. Especially after we heard he wanted Winslow at 4.

I don't get it. We need offense. Not more inept offensive players who are only known for defense.

Brown is not known for defense.

Brown is not known for defense.

He's known for it more than other prospects though. And he has athleticism and no offensive game whatsoever, which is exactly what Danny likes for some reason

Jaylen Brown (if 3-4 range)

He is looking for that "explosive" athlete this team does not have.  Not even 1

Brown will only get better and I like his work ethic.   Yes a little cocky but thats ok with me

as long as he is not "selfish" .

Jaylen Brown looks good if you're picking him in the 10-15 range as an upside pick. As your top 5 pick, that's a little scary.

I like Brown quite a bit.  Not many players attack the rim like he does.

If Danny takes Brown at 2 or even 5 I think there are going to be some very salty Celtics fan. My
ideal draft scenario is we take Ingram at 2 and then grab Labisierre at 16 and then trade our 2nd rounders and 23 to go up and take Malik Beasley. Trade for Monroe or keep the top and trade the rest for cash. Trade Bradley annd a couple of more pieces to Milwaukee.

PG: Isaiah Thomas
SG: Malik Beasley
SF: Brandon Ingram
PF: Amir Johnson
C: Greg Monroe

I think Ainge is going: 1) Ingram 2) Murray 3) Hield

If all of those guys are off the board, I think he'll draft Bender. He's working out some of the boom-or-bust big men from the mid-late first round, so I think he'll grab at least one.

I think he wants no part of the pick.  He is trading it.  Specifically, he's trading it for Love or Okafor.

You don't think Ainge is considering Simmons in the top 4??

To answer the OP, I think Ainge is probably leaning towards Ingram over Simmons.  We know that Ainge loved Durant even more than most coming out of college.  And we also know that Ainge has always been a big believer in psycho-analysis of a player's competitiveness, etc.  Both of those things seem to lean towards Ingram.

I honestly hope we get Simmons, but would be VERY happy with a top 2 pick.

These are two on a very short list I'd trade the pick for.  Primarily because they are currently the best offensive big man  and the best one future wise.
