Some much discussed players, possible future C's, did very well today.

You can see the video of them performing the drills on Chad Ford's twitter

Jamal Murray shot 25-for-27 from NBA 3 in 2 mins in the same star drill

Thon Maker aced his interviews at Combine. Terrific workout today too. Would love to see him head-to-head with Skal

Murray didn't even hit the rim.........

Also maker still looks so freaking fluid to me for his size. Couple that with the intensity, man I want him on the Cs.

I will be thrilled if we end up with Murray and Maker.

Maker moves likes he is 6"5. That is crazy. Murray is going to be a 20 ppg game guy in this league for a long time.

I dont see any way that Maker doesn't go in the first round despite the early projections thus far.

Agreed. If we pick 3-6, it will either be Murray or Hield. This team sorely needs shooting. Maker seems highly intelligent and has a strong work ethic, so he should be seriously considered at 16 or 23. I would much rather take a chance on Maker than someone like Fab Melo, who's as dumb as a box of rocks.

Murray is going to be such a good player. Wouldn't mind taking him 3rd.  I like Maker or Skal or both at 16 and 23. Derrick Jones in the second round.

I don't like how Murray brings the ball down to his hip before he shoots.  Then he has a fairly low release.  Curry has a low release too so who knows.

I remain high on Maker.  What is there not to like other than he didn't go to college?

Ingram looks good (no surprise).

Murray was just born with the ability to put the ball in the hoop. He will be the best scorer out of this draft class. Not the best player but the best in terms of getting hoops. If the C's get 3-6 I would expect them to pick him.

I'm starting to warm up to Murray.  He is a supreme shooter.  It has become a shooter's league for sure. Plus he is so young, and mature for his age.

I posted in the playoff thread yesterday but didn't get a reaction.

Does Murray remind anyone of klay Thompson? Both can really shoot. Both are 2s. Neither is overly athletic, though klay is probably a better defender.

Murray would be perfect for this team. We need scoring and shooting and he could deliver from day 1
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

This is how I feel. I think Murray reminds me of Harden. Not sure he will reach that level but he has that potential. He is so young, he is going to be a really good pro.

I like the comparison. Both have sneaky athleticism especially Murray. I don't think Klay was considered a good defender early on in his career so I think Murray also has the ability to become a good defender considering his tools and iq.  Although I like the comparison, there are some differences.  Klay is bigger. However, Murray has the point guard abilities that I don't think Thompson has.  In conclusion, I think Murray is going to be a Klay Thompson-level NBA player which would be an awesome pick for us at 3-6.

and Simmons don't even show up...
If we get first pick, I prefer Ingram.

Simmons is all busy working on his shoe deals.
