I want to say yes for giannis just because I believe he has one of the highest upsides in the league (AD and KAT), but his lack of super elite production so far is mildly worrying. He seems to be putting it together once Jason kidd stopped stepping on his toes so I'd say yes.

Wiggins has the innate ability to score due to his innate athleticism and shooting ability, but due to his lack of an alpha dog personality (so far), and inability to stroke it from three, I probably pass. (Sorry about the way too long sentence, I tend to ramble when typing on the phone)

Kristaps yea. I would probably regret it, but man even at his skinny stature the kid can bang. If he adds another 15 pounds, the kid will be unstoppable. Plus he showed an ability to stretch the floor, and to shoot, aka what every team, and definitely this one needs. The 7'3 thing is just a huge bonus. *the 7'3 thing also makes me think he may be an injury risk down the road. Call me cynical, but hey.

If it is the 2nd pick, aka Ingram I'd do all three in a heartbeat. I'm a fan of ingram, but I want superstar potential, which all 3 have, and so does simmons. I just see Ingram as a perennial coaches decision for the all star game.

I don't think I would trade the #1 or #2 for another wing type player but I would consider it for a big (which I feel is a bigger need than a wing).  I definitely see room to improve at the 2 or 3 but what we really need is more talent at 4 and 5.

So guys like Porzingis, Okafor, and of course Cousins would be the type of player that I would target if I were to trade the pick at all.  I don't necessarily see a one for one (say Ingram for Porzingis) but perhaps a broader trade could be possible (but unlikely).

The scoring wing player is valuable too but none of the ones mentioned are necessarily any better than Simmons or Ingram.  Better to just keep the rookie contract than trade for say Wiggins.  I don't see that getting us anything.

I actually think it is more likely that if we somehow end up with Simmons, maybe we trade Marcus Smart in a package for Okafor and then sign Dwight Howard.  I know people will think Howard and Okafor won't mess well Howard becomes a bridge at that point while we build around Simmons and Okafor.

I really like Ingram so i wouldn't trade the pick for no one if the pick is top 2.

Not a fan of Porzingis, but Wiggins is intriguing definitively.

I would for all 3 as none of the incoming rookies are sure things (not that a guy who has never played is a sure thing, but there are guys that you pretty much know are going to be at least very good players like Lebron James). 

I mean Porzingis just averaged 14/7 showed the ability to stretch the floor and defend as a foreign born currently 20 year old rookie. 

Wiggins just scored over a 20 a game in his 2nd year with solid efficiency and like Porzingis is a strong defender. 

Giannis is a little trickier because he is already 3 years in (and thus is due for a big contract soon), but Giannis is basically the skill set of Simmons, but you have a 21 year old version that has proven he can play well in the NBA coming off a 17/8/4 season and shooting over 50% from the field. 

So yeah, I'd trade Simmons or Ingram for any of the three and wouldn't give it a second thought.  Of course none of those teams would make that trade so it is a moot point.

IMO.  So I wouldn't trade the #1 for any of them, but I'd trade the #2 (assuming Simmons goes first) for both Wiggins and Porzingis.  I'm not a huge fan of Giannis.

Nope, i would not.

Giannis and Wiggins I would think hard about...but probably decline.

I think Ingram, Simmons, Dunn and Hield all have the potential to be as good as (or better than) Wiggins.

Wiggins actually isn't that great right now.  He's really a bit of s one trick pony, with scoring being about the only thing he does well.  Of course hes got the potential to get much better in other areas, but whether he will or not...who knows.

I wouldn't trade Simmons for any of the three. I'd maybe trade Ingram for Porzi, but I'm not sure. I'd probably trade Ingram for Giannis. I wouldn't trade him for Wiggins, who is overrated.

I have a broader question that relates to this- how in general do the top prospects of 2016 compare to those from 2015?

Most agreed that the top 7 from 2015 was something like this 1. Towns, 2. Okafor, 3. Russell, 4. Mudiay, 5. Porzingis, 6. Hezonja, 7. Winslow

This year, we've got a reasonably firm top 6 of Simmons, Ingram, Bender, Hield, Dunn, and Murray. How would you splice those to lists together?

Trying my best to ignore what we've learned since last June, I'm guessing something like this?

Today, though, we know that Winslow is kind of a prodigy, Okafor's limitations are glaring, Porzingis plays as tall as he is... Maybe swap Porzingis with Okafor and Winslow with Hezonjia
