Totally.  I am a big fan of him and I lived in Cleveland and boy would it mean the world to those people.  They have great fans that have been beaten down for years and years.

for me...I would much rather the Cavs win rather than GS or San Antonio. As much as I like Duncan and want him to go out on top, I'd much rather the CITY OF CLEVELAND get a title. I love Curry but he won it last year. The Cavs FINALLY bringing it for the city would be great story lines.

I am with you on this one. I live in Cleveland, but cant stand Lebron, but it will make a lot of my family and friend happy.

It sucks but I have to say the Cavs...I would never root for Lebron's team but selfishly Horford losing gives us a better chance to sign him (if we need to).I also don't really care for Horford that much but if they beat the Cavs maybe he stays with the Hawks which just might take a bigger name free agent off the market.  This is the same reason I am hoping the Spurs smash the Thunder (even though as a basketball fan I would much rather seen the Thunder beat the Spurs). Celtics options take priority over my personal preferences...

I had friends in college who were huge Browns fans even though the Browns didn't exist at the time.  Cleveland sports fans deserve a championship, yet I'm still rooting for them to lose.  I just can't root for Lebron.
