I encourage all of you to call the NBA League Office as I have done regarding Mike Scott.

This guy was caught with 10.9 grams of MDMA (Molly) and 35.2 grams of marijuan and he ran from police at speeds up to 95mph.

He faces up to 25 years in prison.

And he ADMITTED the drugs were his:

The Hawks do NOT win Game 1 without him and likely don't win Game 5 without him.

You had Reggie Miller glowingly calling him "Iron Mike" during TNT's coverage of Game 5.

The number to the League Office is 212-407-8000.

The Hawks' ownership and management and likely their coach decided to bring him back and Adam Silver ALLOWED this to occur.

Why am I the ONLY one talking about this and IRATE over this?

He's innocent until proven guilty (although he admitted it, haha), but it is amazing that certain crimes (namely, domestic violence) result in a player be ostracized -- and in the NFL and MLB, suspended indefinitely -- while felony drug trafficking is treated like no big deal.

This is what happens when you live in the era of "legalize it."

Meanwhile, Tom Brady is suspended for the first 4 games of next season because the NFL has to protect their precious integrity.

Actually, the NFL has to prove that they were right even though there is flimsy evidence at best. The actual punishment enforced in the last week came from judges who didn't even look at the substance of the case and gave their judgment based on the CBA and what the players agreed to.

As for Scott, it is ridiculous and I agree that game 1 is ours without him going off. You could have put in my (unathletic) middle school nephew on that team last game, though, and they still would have gone off. The Celtics just appeared to stop caring.

'It' is usually referring to marijuana, though. I don't see a huge 'ecstasy for all' movement.

I just can't seem to get myself upset about this. Even though I'd like to for basketball reasons.

I'm more upset about Mike Scott's ridiculous emoji tattoos than I am his criminal case.

Who cares.

The fact of the matter is that he IS playing right now and there has been a couple of games now where he has really hurt the Celtics.

The Celtics need to focus on making him a non-factor again.  Not worrying about what kind of off the court stupidity Scott may be getting himself into.  He's a dipstick but he's playing. Nothing's going to change that right now.

I agree, but which emoji tattoo do you think would help Kelly the most?

The real problem is we can't stop the felon who does drugs on the basektball court.  Who cares if the NBA lets him play.  We should be able to stop him.
