This is torture. Just lose the series so we can finally put a real team on the court. Celtics can't shoot, turning the ball over n where's the defense ? Bring on the lottery n draft please. Ugh...

Kind of a foregone conclusion as soon as playoff seeding was solidified.  Atlanta is clearly a superior team.  Doesn't really matter, though.  Our chips are all on the table for a wild summer.  These playoffs  are kind of irrelevant.  Just have to go through to motions of a 1st or 2nd round exit.  We either lose to Atlanta or Lebron. Either way doesn't really make a difference.

have improved every year under CBS. first two playoff wins for CBS. good experience going forward after getting swept last year. playoff experience.

Yes I am happy we won. I was just frustrated n posted this in the ugly 3rd quarter when we were missing shots but hey, I'd rather be wrong then right in this situation 😜

Exactly...this is a great barometer to measure how the roster and Brad are progressing.

How do some of you here get off calling yourselves Celtics fans? I get it, we were playing terrible in the first 2 games, the 2nd one especially. But how do you watch 82 games and then wish for it all to be over before it is? And still be a fan? We got crushed by the Cavs last year, but if I were king of the world and could have had it a a best of 9, I would have. Lost that one too, make it a best of 11. I feel like some here are bigger nba 2k fans then celtics fans. just read the box scores as you simulate the season and wish for it to be over as soon as yo think there is no shot at a title. You guys are the same ones who will be calling us to blow it all up in a few weeks. Can't you just enjoy the ride? Our players worked so hard this year. They gave us a lot to cheer for. Yeah, 7 points in a quarter sucks, but it's about the process. Being a true fan is enjoying that. Seeing guys grow. Sure those lotto balls hold our fate in a big way, but if you are enjoying that moment more than these playoff moments then, in my opinion, you have a lot to learn about being a fan.

i agree with all of this. it is mind boggling to not be able to enjoy these games.

The "true fan" stuff is specifically against our rules, it's one of Jeff Clark's pet peeves, and it is the height of arrogance. Who here has the monopoly on defining how fans must act?

I think some people missed this and are responding as if you thought we should just roll over even though we came back and won.

I am loving the roller-coaster and hope they can win the series if for nothing else than to have fewer days between the end of 'our' season and the beginning of the off-season. Obviously I would take a championship, but that isn't exactly realistic. This off-season holds a lot of expectations and we are all chomping at the bit to see what this team will look like for the forseeable future.
