If he was 20 and had some upside sure. But no we know what he is and the team has no roster space. I would much rather struggle with Young and Hunter a season to find out if they are capable bench guys. It should be their shot this coming year.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I've always been a big fan of Brandon Rush. I'd be happy to sign him as long as it's less than $5 million per.

We are a team that shoots threes and play defense, and here's a guy who does both things really good. Versatile wing, as he can play both wing spots effectively.

I think it's worth it for that price. Someone who would fit quite nicely and we could use in our system.

Rush does not have a ton of miles in his 30 year old body of his. He can still effectively run against anyone, as evident with the Warriors.

We are now transitioning into competing mode, and we could use capable players, even if it's an end of bench guy. Brandon Rush is capable.

I'd sign him for an end of the bench guy but for the minimum. 5 million is way overpriced for a bench cheerleader.

Exactly.  We could use him.

Even with the rising cap?

Also, his form kinda reminds me of ingram's form. If we strike out on Ingram, at least I can be happy watching rush shoot it like Ingram does lol
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I think as long as it's not for more than $5 million, it's fine.

Great price for a guy coming off the bench and can contribute. You're going to have to pay Rush, at least a bit more, otherwise he will just stay in Golden State for the minimum. As long as it's not going to cost us $5 million, I think it's worth having him.

He provides something that we need, first of all, and is a steady veteran presence that can contribute on both ends.

$5 million is basically a minimum deal in the new cap environment.  Maybe a little more than that.
