and all in all bad news for us.  I just want to win one game. Is that too much to ask

Not saying 1 to 1 same

but Horford is kind of like a Duncan. Just savvy, uses tricks but not enough for the refs to call foul, strong, high IQ, grabs the rebounds, passes the ball, sets really good picks,  protects the rim and now can shoot the 3.

Teague and Schroder are like Tony Parker.  PNR, get by their man, then it's hell on earth. They can pass to the open shooter (and this team like the spurs have many guys that can make their shots), dump it off for layups/dunks or go in themselves for the layup.

Spurs have 2 killer shooters every year it seems and ATL has Korver.

Millsap, one of new breed pfs that can shoot or drive in for layups.

Mike Scott is a tough customer and also can shoot.  Not a fan of his dirty tricks but can't deny he is a good off the bench guy.

Bazemore can now shoot.  =T

Bud has done a tremendous job with this club.   He is like a Pops jr. in alot of ways.  Understands what strategy to take, how to communicate/have his players execute.  # 2 Team Defense in the league

But without a legit star ,  every year their season could end at the ECF.

Absolute worst nightmare matchup for the Celts.

I think what the Celts need to do now is throw a changeup and dont' defend as if AB was playing.

Back everyone up slightly on the defensive end. Let the hawks beat us with the jump shot.  Especially Teague and Schroder (streaky shooters).

On the other the Celts need to do a heck lot more cutting to the basket. We need to execute those tick tack passes from the FT line to under the basket.  I have seen success in scoring this way bc the hawks are focused on preventing the Celts from getting good 3 pt looks. Need to rebound the better as a team on the defensive end and get more fast break pts.
