All year long the Celtics needed to play "playoff defense" in regular season games to win. Now when everyone is playing tough, hard D, they seem very over matched. I would hate to think we've been playing with fools gold all season.

Yeah but 4th quarters are generally hard fought even during the regular season, and we had our fair share of competitive 4th quarters.  I really think we're just having our worst stretch of the year over the last 5 games.  Seems like the players are just as shell-shocked as we are.

Wonder if it will be at all different when we come back home or if this ugly stretch officially killed us for the rest of the way.

Me too. Do not want to see this team as currently constructed back again next season. Need to change the dynamic of this team.

We have to upgrade at the sf spot and 4/5.

Sadly we've needed to do this for 3 years and Danny has sat on his hands or picked us up another guard

Yes we have to get more athletic at the 4/5 and better shooting at the 3.

It would even out the playing field for sure. It's messed up but true. I would've loved to play ATL with Celtics healthy, including Crowder.

So since going small, we've not lost any ground on them. I wonder where we would've been if Brad would've had his head out of his arse and went small from the get-go like he should've..

Seriously going small is what rallied our comeback the last half of game 1 don't know why we went big. He piled on with Zeller as well he deserves a lotta blame for sure.

Playoffs really don't mean much right now in the big picture.  They weren't winning anything this season anyway.  Biggest night of the season will be the lottery.

The more Sully plays the more he is getting exposed in the series. He can't even rebound in this series he is an absolute liability on the floor. Let him walk Ainge

Wishful thinking my friend. I hope he is okay. I want us to win this with him on the floor. If you said to me that we would score less than 50 through 3 and would be in this Id have laughed at you. But we have this.

If its his MCL, looks like another bullet we will dodge in the offseason. I am not a fan of him on the Celtics anyway, unless Durant comes with him.

This game has me thinking..I wonder how Cousins will do in a playoff game..that is if he ever gets in one...I would be a tad afraid to risk all of the Nets gold for a player with mental issues and an unproven playoff pedigree.
