This is why when people want us to look for more gritty players or whatever, I laugh. We don't need grit. We have grit. Look at this team. They need talent.

I definitely don't think the absence of Bradley has anything to do with this game. and I don't think we're as bad as we've shown, and I don't think Atlanta is as good as we're making them look.

we've fallen in a hole the last few weeks and these last 2 games now because of who we are - a jump shooting team with no shooters.

this is on Stevens imo.

this is on a lack of good shooters. CBS gets them good looks, they just dont make the shots. do you think somehow CBS is hiding a herd of shooters or something?

The worst part is the Hawks literally didn't score in the last 5 minutes and we couldn't capitalize at all on the offensive end

I really hoped Smart could make a leap, but he really doesn't look like he can play offense in the NBA.  Hopefully he breaks through.  He's shown some signs in other games.

At least he can get to the paint.

Further, it's just showing why Ingram might be the better choice for us if we actually use the pick. We HAVE to have more shooter if this is how we're going to play.

Yeah. That was a great decision not to move Crowder for Jimmy Butler.

You can't watch this and not see that this team desperately needs an infusion of shooters, or the next step isn't happening. Not with this group.

Which is why there is no place for Ben Simmons with this group. We have to have scorers. Now. We cannot wait.
