Maybe John Holland will surprise us all. Or even better; James Young will start knocking down his shots.
maybe they should hypnotize young into thinking he is still playing in the deleague. he did well there.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I find it funny that because Sully is fat people have called him injury prone.

I think they both are to some degree.

Sully played 58 games last year and 74 the year before, he played 81 this year and this is the first year he has played close to the whole year.   His rookie year he played 45 games.

Now let us throw out the rookie year due to back surgery that means he has played in 213 out of 246 games or 87% of games for his career with ignoring his rookie season.   That is injury prone to me and I do think conditioning and weight played an issue in it.

I think KO is as well.  This shoulder could be problematic for him.   Gosh, I miss when guys played sore.

I'm not going to say that these injuries mean this team is doomed.  Losing AB is tough because he is one of the best defensive guards in the league and Teague/Schroeder are very dangerous.  But we have Rozier (thank you Danny) and I think most of us agree that he can stay with those 2 athletically.  That's better than nothing.

I don't think I've ever seen Jerebko perform well in a big game, so the KO news is pretty devastating. Do we know he won't play?

Well...now maybe the Celtics start off the games with a sense of urgency----instead of sleepwalking their way to a huge halftime deficit---and then playing hard.

so does "very unlikely for the rest of the series" really mean definitely out until november? i'm still curious what the extent of the injury is even if it doesn't matter for the playoffs.

It will be mildly disappointing to lose this series anything worse than 4-2. I love watching this team and the wait to October is long, so I hope they give us a couple more weeks and a few more thrills.

But it's really this off-season that matters.  As far as the next few games go, the most important thing may really be whether or not any players improve their trade value.  Losing AB to a hamstring probably doesn't hurt his value -- actuallly, the press he's received and the fact that the team lost its momentum after his departure may strengthen the perception of his value.  KO shoulder injury I think clearly hurts his value as would a Sully no-show if that continues over the next 3-6 games.   On the plus side, Marcus could raise his value as could Rozier and Hunter if they make contributions.

HOpefully Smart steps up.   I just want us to win at least one playoff game so we can at least claim it as "progress" from last season.   Either way, I'm super excited about the offseason.  I see this playoff appearance as an appetizer for things to come.

Give some minutes to Zeller.....Heck, David Lee would have helped in this series.

The point wasn't whether Sully was injury prone or not. The point is people on this site, you included, have harped on Sully's injury prone ways quite a bit and yet most of those very same people have never uttered a word of complaint about KO and his injury prone ways. Over the last three years Sully has actually played 8 more games than KO but you never hear of anyone complaining about that.

I dont think it was easy getting minutes for hunter and rozier over the season, both played well but they are playing in our deepest positions. Mickey probably, i mean all those lazy zeller minutes, but it would only be few and in between. I think it helped his game more when he went to get lots of reps in the dleague. Mickey got better becauae of dleague. Pre d league mickey wasnt a rotation player

Mickey is still not a rotation player. He is just not as bad as he was to begin the year.

Time for role players to step up. Scott and Bazemore stepped up for Atlanta last game Celtics need a spark from a couple of their role players.
