Great D by OKC, but Spurs are short arming every shot too.

The Spurs have simply run out of gas on offense.  Nobody they can rely on for a bucket aside from Kawhi and LMA.

I think it's probably time for Timmy and Manu to hang it up.

Parker can still do good things but they need a more well rounded backup playmaker than Mills.

It's been cool seeing the Thunder find themselves in this series, but I'm disappointed we won't get to see the best two teams in the league by a country mile in the regular season go head to head in a playoff series.

At least GSW and OKC will be a more interesting matchup featuring two dynamic shooting teams.
Otherwise the Warriors would've swept the old-aged Spurs lol.

At this point, I don't think it would be a series with GSW and SAS. They quite possibly might get swept. If they can't score on OKC's defense, what are they going to do against Golden State? Hell, if they can't stop OKC's offense, HOW ARE THEY GOING TO STOP GOLDEN STATE'S OFFENSE? lol

Seriously, this might be good for the Spurs' sake, because I guarantee it wouldn't be more than a five game series with how they're playing right now, especially after being manhandled by them during the season, too.

Spurs need to retool with LMA and Leonard. Neither guy is a superstar. If they are going to build around those two they need a true alpha dog. Westbrook would be the perfect guy after next year lol

I'll give them credit - they've looked good - but this Spurs team absolutely choked, too. It's just like van Gundy was saying - OKC is playing good D, but the Spurs somehow have a bunch of people just straight playing bad and missing shots, too. Age has definitely caught up with Duncan and Ginobli. They've got to hang it up this offseason. Parker is largely diminished, too.

They're definitely missing shots -- and I think that's partly because the Thunder have gotten in their heads.

So if Duncan and Ginobli retire, which I think many people claim they should after this series, the Spurs will have around $76M in salary this offseason. How do they improve this summer to try and stay in semi-contender status?

Since they'll be limited, I'm guessing they'll try and convince the two to stay around one more year for one more chance. That way they stay contenders (at least on paper) and can benefit with the next jump in the cap in 2017.

They are one of the best, if not the very best run organization in the league. I'm sure they have already put together a plan for retooling the team without Duncan and Ginobili this summer long ago. Just like they were ready to grab Aldridge, they must already have their replacements for Ginobili and Parker lined up. Parker will be around, but he's not the main guy to run the team anymore either. Its Leonard, Aldridge, Boban, and however they have lined up as big FA targets this summer. Dwight Howard would actually fit well next to Aldridge and if any coach can get Dwight to finally live up to his potential, its Pop. Mike Conley will be a FA, he could easily slide into the Parker role and run with Leonard and Aldridge.
