Celtics vs. Hawks in playoffs: who do you got?

i think hawks in 6 or 7. they have great versatile bigs. this was probably the worst possible outcome for the c's.

Would you consider starting JJ to guard Milsap? He has the size to guard Milsap, and Milsap isn't overly explosive or quick. Their bigs aren't going to post up.

I know there's chemistry to consider, but I'd almost start JJ and KO or something like that to open up the middle more with more spacing for IT to drive.

Just a bad matchup especially without HCA. They can win this series but you put a gun to my head I wouldn't take them. My head is saying ATL in 5 ugh. C's gotta win one of the first two to extend this thing out.

i hate this match up for the celtics. but what the heck, the celtics are 5th in the east and in the playoffs. so i wont complain....too much. 

i love being wrong, so i will say hawks in 6. but no matter what my brains screams, my heart just hums and says "celtics in 6."

It's disgusting how nicely this sets up for the Cavs seems like it's seemingly every year.

C's/Hawks will be in a most likely grueling 6-7 game 1st round beating up on each other, while the Cavs get the the wounded team that's left.

I'm thankful we are in the playoffs and we won the last game in an epic comeback.  So hopefully this is the playoff series that spurs a growth spurt from our young guns.  Somebody needs to step up big time.  I feel the Hawks will try to focus on stopping IT because basically he is our star player. 

The X-factor is going to be our bench and believe it or not... Evan Turner.  He has a lot of versatility.

We don't have a lot of 3 point shooting, but we showed that we can 'choke out' a team with our overall defense.  I can't believe we held the Heat to just 5 points in the 3rd quarter!!

The double bonus is that if we move past the Hawks, we have a chance to earn mad respect from Horford as a real playoff team.  You're not for real until you win at least 1 series imo.

Horford+Durant would be the dream free agency.  At that point the draft would just be gravy.

I'm trying to come up with a reason to be happy that we are playing the Hawks. I have failed. I'd much rather have played Charlotte or Miami.

Having said that, I'm still going C's in 6. Keeping the faith.

2 things that make me feel a lot better:

-we were on our way to a win in ATL the other night but we completely ran out of gas to end the 3rd and the entire 4th

-we just came back from ~25 down to beat a formidable playoff team in a meaningful game to end the regular season

My gut says Atlanta in 5, so I'm going to try and do a better job of mistrusting my gut, since it's led me to under-predict this Celts team time and again.
