I know it sounds ridiculous on the surface, but after a Cavs loss tonight I think it's actually within the realm of possibility that they could fall to the 2nd slot (which is great for us if we end up 4th or 5th). I'm gonna break it down to prove it's not as crazy as it sounds:

Cleveland (56-24):

Remaining games:

Vs Atlanta (who are still fighting to lock up the 3 seed)
Vs Detroit (who are still trying to lock up the 7th seed)

Toronto (53-26):

Remaining games:

@Knicks (it's the Knicks..)
Vs Philly (it's the Sixers..)
@Brooklyn (it's the Nets..)

Toronto's last 3 games are an absolute joke and they should be able to take care of that. So basically if Cleveland drops 2 games to playoff teams they fall to second. Both games are at home but they did lose to Detroit at home and Atlanta is always a tough matchup.

I know it's not likely but it's definitely more possible than I had previously thought. Maybe I just want it to happen so badly that I'm completely off here, but never say never.
2025 CelticsStrong Historical Draft Orlando Magic:
PG: Chris Paul, Fred VanVleet
SG: Ray Allen, OG Anunoby, Zach Lavine
SF: Paul Pierce, Gordon Hayward
PF: Chris Bosh, Serge Ibaka, David West
C: Tim Duncan, Andrew Bogut

Oh wow, there is an outside chance of that happening. I actually think that's much more likely than Atlanta losing twice to Cleveland and Washington. They're actually only 1-2 against Detroit, too, though they're 2-0 against Atlanta.

But, you never know. Lebron made it known last year that he doesn't care for seeding and prefers being rested, so anything is possible.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
