Keep in mind if the second or third player may not be there, it's because we traded up to grab him with are many picks. Most people don't want anymore than three rookies including me.

Also feel free to write in what package of three you would prefer.

I'd never even considered taking Poeltl and Sabonis until conducting this exercise. Really interesting proposition, we may have to move up from the Dallas spot, but anything is possible!

Honestly these three players I want, Buddy Hield, Denzel Valentine and Thon Maker.  If I have a choice I want Damian Jones to fall to us at the 31st.  I think these 4 rookie would be great fits, even though Thon Maker is a project but could be the steal of the draft in 1 to 2 years.

How I'd like to see the team fill out, best case.  Mind you this all changes if we get Ben Simmons.

Free Agency
Kevin Durant - Max deal

Resign Free Agents
Jared Sullinger - 3 years - 7-9 million a year

Trade
Milwaukee Bucks looking to get rid of Greg Monroe since it's not working as much as they'd like.
Bucks - Greg Monroe
Celtics - Amir Johnson, James Young, Terry Rozier, 2 Second rounders the 35th and 43rd is roughly what we'll have.

Starting Five
Center - Monroe
Power Forward - Sullinger
Small Forward - Durant
Shooting Guard - Bradley
Point Guard - Thomas

Back Up Five
Center - Olynyk
Power Forward - Mickey
Small Forward - Crowder
Shooting Guard - Hield
Point Guard - Smart

Bench
Small Forward - Valentine
Shooting Guard - Hunter
Center - Jones
Center - Maker

I went for Jaylen Brown. If we could get Brown, Valentine and Stone that would be an acceptable draft

So I'm the only one so far who went with the Jakob option.  I'm probably guilty of falling for the drafting for need temptation but I really feel that the Celtics have everything else covered.  They just need a very good interior defender to go along with their outstanding perimeter defense.  So that's why I went with Jakob.

I also think Prince will slot in nicely behind Crowder on the depth chart.

Sabonis, I like but don't love.

My two cents...

I'm still big on Poetle and Prince so I went with that option. Don't think either have star power but I think they can both be well above average role players.

Brown Sabonis (though I doubt he will be available with mavs pick) and an international prospect.  Stone lacks motor

I picked the Poeltl option but based on DXs latest mock I would make a small change. DX has Chriss going one pick before the Cs 16th pick and Prince going 2 spots before the Cs 24th if both can be had via trade up am that's a great draft haul

Poeltl, Chriss, Prince.. Love the long and short term potential of this group

Maker is weird. Lottery to late second. I think Danny decided on Rozier after his try-out. Surely the Cs give one to Maker, no?

Assuming we are 4th pick, I'd go with Buddy and Maker. I have no idea who to pick with the celtics pick.

I'd go Hield, Chriss and one of the Euro Bigs (Zizic, Zubac, Cornelie).

Looking at it a little more closely, Zizic is one who looks especially appealing.  Putting up similar number to Saric but is 3 years younger.

Brown and Poeltl I like similarly well, and I like Sabonis too. I would be seriously p---ed if we took Hield and Valentine, but luckily MJ isn't our GM...

I expect the Cs to work out a ridiculous number of prospects. With such a wide range of picks they will have to touch on every area of the draft. This could really work to there benefit. If they land the 3 or 4 pick every lottery talent will be lining up for a work out hoping to max out their potential this will mean that the later lottery 12-14 range guys who may not usually work out for a team picking at 16 will work out for the Cs. This can only help in the process.
