I know these are just highlights and it is high school completion but he made a very wide range of shots and overall looked very acclimated on the court. There was some good anticipatory rebounding, some fast break lane-finding, a few good back-door cuts, and in general found where to be so he could be a target for a pass.
It was not just over powering or shooting over the top of smaller players.
I think there will be better options with the Brooklyn pick but even with the Dallas pick, he should be a consideration. We just don't need any more mid-draft level traditional players. We already have Sullinger, Olynyk, Rozier, Young...
I say take the chance and also see if we can get KG to come back and coach him. That is the luxury of having so many picks. It is really no big deal if we take a chance on him and he busts. We will still have more draft picks than we need or can actually place on the roster.
