Great win at Golden State...anyone see a letdown tonight vs the Lakers?

I hated it when the Lakers beat the Celtics in Boston earlier this year...hated to see Kobe get the final win in Boston for his career!

I certainly hope the C's don't have a letdown and lose to the Lakers, probably the team most longtime Celtics fans hate the most.

This to be the biggest trap game of the season. Hopefully it won't be.

I think the C's still remember the Lakers loss, and they're a lot more motivated now with the playoff standings. I'd say you're going to see a lopsided game where several C's have big games.

I expect Bradley, Smart, and Crowder to ultimately shut down their guard and Kobe scoring, too.

The bigger question to ask is this:

What do you watch first - the Walking Dead season finale or the Celtics game?  :(

I DVR the Waking Dead and start watching it about 15 minutes after the start time I can kip the commercial.  By the time WD is over I should be able to cruise through a recorded Celts game too.
Yup

DVR

Throw another wrinkle into this - my wife has pretty much said she'll disown me if I don't watch TWD live with her, and I hate not watching the game live. I realize it'll only be a quarter or so back, but it still sucks.

This.

That was a really annoying game.  The Kobe lovers coming out of the woodwork was god awful.

I am fortunate to have a wife who has been spoiled by the joys of being able to FF through commercials to the point where she finds it annoying watch live.  The extra half hour might throw a little wrinkle into things tonight as well.
Yup

I believe we can secure a playoff spot with a win as well as climb in the standings .
That extra motivation shuld help avoid a meltdown /trap game .

Glad I'm not the only stressing out over this being a huge trap game. Couple things ease me off the ledge at this point.

1. Every game matters at this point because of the super tight race for 3-6 in the East.

2. Brad Stevens, unlike Boston fans, seems unhuman like with his even keel.

3. Lakers seem to be even more dysfunctional now than at any other point during this season.

Couple things keep me thinking about jumping off the ledge.

1. Kobe's last game against the Celtics. I'm hoping he has absolutely nothing left in the tank so he's unable to conjure up 2007 Kobe for one game. (crosses fingers)

2. Trap game. I'm hoping this is more of a fan thing than players looking past the Lakers.

Lastly my wife is glad the West Coast trip is ending tonight. She's not a big fan of me screaming at the TV at midnight.
ok fine

this is a team full of role players. they can beat anyone on any given night and lose to anyone on given night.

i'll give anyone all the credit in the world if they can pick which games they're going to win and lose.
