I still say that Danny needs to Hire someone who actually knows how to evaluate young players...cause Danny is not good at it....If we use our picks, we'll be sorry once again---after Danny passes up the next Rodney Hood, Draymond Green, etc.

That's a tough statement to make when many teams passed on the likes of Hood and Green. DA ha his misses and mistakes but that's part of the job.

I think Danny's drafting record was better before Austin became part of his brain trust. Not saying it's Austin's fault, but Danny may have a problem hearing his kid's advice objectively, and Austin may give him too much of an echo chamber for his own way of thinking.

I say Trade the picks at all cost---get some Veterans in here, before Brad or IT get restless....We still have plenty of future picks.

Don't want Murray at all and don't see the point in that pick.

I don't mind Davis, but I think if Skal is on the board there, you have to go with Skal.

Like the Zizic pick.

Why do you "have" to go with the guy who doesn't appear to have a clue when he's on the court?
I think he has by far the most upside of anyone that is theoretically going to be available in that spot.  And it isn't like Davis isn't a project.  That selection I believe Boston is going to take a big man project, Skal rates out by as the best one of those maybe in the entire draft.  There is a reason Skal was the projected #2 pick.  I also know there is a reason he has fallen, but the talent is clearly there.  That is the exact type of pick Boston should make with its 2nd lotter pick

Skal just seems like a more talented version of Fab Melo to me.  Maybe he'll be pretty good some day, but probably when he's on his second or third contract in the league.

He knows how to evaluate, he just looks for different things. Instead of a bonafide star, he'll look for the hard working scrappy guy. Which is ok, but as I've stated multiple times regarding the topic, you can only have so many grit players. At some point, you need actual talent. We need to stop drafting for grit/scrappy/ whatever you wanna call it, and balance our roster with guys that could actually become stars one day.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

After that, if the C's have to use their picks, I say use the Nets pick on Buddy Hield, use the Mavs pick on Denzel Valentine, use the Celtics pick on Jeanne and stash him for a couple years. This draft would then necessitate the Celtics trading away a couple young guard prospects, like Young and Hunter. That doesn't bother me as I think Valentine and Hield are massive upgrades over both players. It would also necessitate having to use free agency to upgrade the frontcourt and add some scoring there. Basically this is the scenario I least want to unfold for Boston

As worst case scenarios go, it could be a lot worse.

Via trade Danny would still have the resources, post-draft, to go after guys like Kevin Love, Jimmy Butler, Jahlil Okafor, or Greg Monroe.

Then in free agency, you could make an offer to Harrison Barnes and see if Golden State matches.  Or you could go after guys like Batum, Deng, or Marvin Williams.  Or simply re-sign Sullinger if the $$ seems like it'll be easy enough to move later.

If Sullinger and Amir are still our starting frontcourt headed into next year, though, that will be a major problem.

Luwawu is going 19th?  What?

Also, it's funny but Bender is finally coming around.  He is getting some minutes now and I'm actually warming up to him finally.  It's funny but I think I've done a 180 on every player in this draft over the season.  Murray and Zizic are good picks there for sure though
