Went on the Phoenix Suns website to see their remaining schedules which by the way looks horrible (I just don't see them winning any of those games) what I saw was a time tracker counting down days hours minutes and seconds to the NBA lottery. What a shame.

This puts into perspective what we are dealing with in this season's NBA.

Most teams are fulfilling the NBA's trust obligation to the public by playing competitively to win games and thereby entertaining the viewers as they are supposed to do while some like the Suns and Sixers violate this trust by tanking.

Placing a countdown to the lottery on a team's website during the season is shameless and inapposite to the sacred trust the NBA should hold with the public.

Isn't the lottery still rooting for the team to win something?

Wow, that's sad.  Even the 6ers don't have that on their official website
I'm bitter.

If a team has a responsibility to give the fans what they want, isn't a terrible team doing just that by going all out for a top draft pick, and giving their fans cues like a lottery countdown on the website?

I imagine Suns fans, at this point, are relieved their team is racing to the bottom instead of muddling around in the middle without any shot at the playoffs.  Most are probably focused wholly on the draft.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Just imagine the position they'd be in if they hadn't made that horrible trade for Brandon Knight
I'm bitter.
