 Sign Durant and Horford. Check.
Draft Hield, Valentine, and Sabonis, one of Sabonis or Valentine will slide and we can move up with all the second rounders.

Trade Smart and Young for Noel.

 Noel
 Horford
 Durant
 Bradley
 Thomas

 Kelly Sabonis
 Mickey Jonas
 Crowder Valentine
 Hield Hunter
 Rozier

That's 14 bodies maybe resign Turner or Sully.

That is all said and good but as good a fantasy off season as that may seem to you, you will probably be one of the first bloggers on this site complaining when Hield, Mickey, Sabonis and Valentine aren't getting any playing time next year because the Celtics rotation consists of Noel, Horford, Kelly and Sully getting all the front court minutes and IT, KD, AB, Crowder and Rozier getting all the wing and back court minutes.

No not really Nick. I don't care much about waiting for guys to play as long as they can play long term.

I really like Rozier and Mickey's future in Green, Hunter and Young can walk now though.

With Hield he brings something to the team right away so he probably does earn significant minutes in year one. The other two guys who knows. Sabonis is a great rebounder so he may help there.

I like Rozier and Mickey too. Hunter needs to be able to hit three pointers at an elite level to be a good 3 + D guy. I think at least one of them should be seeing rotational minutes next year. Hield I think will develop into a rotational player before year's end but will struggle at first. But if the C's stay healthy next year it wouldn't surprise me to see Hield play as little as Hunter and Rozier has played this year.

Good, young, depth in the rotation is bad news for rookies needing to prove they belong. But if we got KD, Horford, Crowder, IT and Bradley out there playing Celtics defense and scoring at will, I ain't having no problem with seeing rookies wait

Celtics Let Go - Sullinger, Johnson,Jerebko, Zeller, Turner

Celtics Sign In Free Agency - Kevin Durant to a Max Deal, Hassan Whiteside I rather over Al Horford and could come cheaper I believe.  Whiteside sign him for a four year deal around 10-12 million a year.

Draft Day - Since signing Durant we don't need a scoring small forward so we can add depth and scoring where we want.  Of course if we get the #1 pick I'm drafting Ben Simmons, at #2 I'm drafting Brandon Ingram.  If we're #3-5 I'm drafting Buddy Heidi so we're saying this is more likely for this post.  Dallas pick we're saying falls between 13-16 I'm drafting Skal Labissiere.  I'm taking a swing on this kid because he was talking to be the best coming into college and has great upside I believe as a Noel type player with a better shot.  At the #22-24 I'm drafting Denzel Valentine.  In the second round we have plenty of picks to trade or stash.  At #31 I'm interested now in Damian Jones.

Draft Day Trade - James Young, #35 2nd rounder, #46, #54 we trade to 76ers for the #26 pick in the draft and hope Timothe Luwawu is there to draft and stash over in France for a bit longer.

Starting Five
Center - Whiteside (Going with him over Horford)
Power Forward - Mickey
Small Forward - Durant
Shooting Guard - Bradley
Point Guard - Thomas

Second Unit
Center - Olynyk
Power Forward -  Labissiere
Small Forward - Crowder
Shooting Guard - Hield
Point Guard - Smart

11-14 We can carry up to 14 players.  12 active plus 2 inactive.
Shooting Guard/Small Forward - Valentine
Center/Power Forward - Jones
Point Guard - Rozier
Shooting Guard - Hunter

Mickey as a starter and Skal as his back up at PF?!?!?!

You do realize that there is no guarantee that either of these players play next year as much as Terry Rozier has this year? You do realize that in order to land a player like Durant you are going to have to lure him here with more than promises that a bunch of 19-21 year olds will pan out sometime before his four year contract ends? Also, that means swinging for the fences straight out of the gate next year. The team you assembled won't be competitive in the front court for very long if Mickey and Skal don't pan out. Olynyk is injury prone and inconsistent and Whiteside can't be trusted to be in the fourth quarter of tight games because teams will play Hack-A-Hassan. You're better off trying to convince Durant to play with a proven, playoff toughen star than Whiteside and you're better off trades all the picks that don't land you Simmons or Ingram for another proven star.

You do realize there is no guarantee with ANY PLAYER.  IT could blow an ACL first game of the season or KD does.  I'm looking at the future as a whole and what you can put out there for the best team overall.  If we're as good as we are now, adding KD and Whiteside and subtracting those players we're still better.  Plus I'm looking at money wise what we could keep and also still building.  Also this is what I think would be best case, and it's not like it's a bad team by any means.  Adding scorers with rookies and taking a swing at someone who was projected to be top 3 in the draft, but hasn't developed.  So taking Stevens develops him it would be a steal.  If you're only argument you're making is really at the power forward, what's you're point.

Durant would also be looking to make long runs for his career as a Celtic, by doing this, we set him up for it.  A young talented team that will match up against any team 1-14.  Could we say Horford over Whiteside of course, but I look at age.  Horford will be 30 and Whiteside is 26 and still improving.  As for your Hack-A-Hassan have you seen him play or have stats.  Since I'm looking at his stats right now and yeah he's not a .804 like Horford but he's at .634 and has improved each year at the free throw line.  Also looking at his stats the most he's been to the line has been 11 times and he went 10-11.   KO is simply a filler for this year since his contract is up at the end of next season.  So we'd be able to bring in someone else.  Or to make you happy about complaining at the power forward, resign Sullinger and trade Rozier or Hunter and have Mickey take over one of the 11-14 spots.
