Makes sense, I suppose he's aiming for a similar style career to LeBron.

I'm not at all clued up on college eligibility in America but with his sister joining Klutch Sports in 2014 and a deal having supposedly been in place for a year, should he have been eligible to play at LSU? I thought you weren't allowed to be in contact with agents during your time in college?

With LSU not submitting Simmons as a player of the year candidate (due to "academic issues" aka doing little if any coursework) and immediately disqualifying itself from the postseason, I think it's safe to say there's all kinds of shady stuff surrounding Ben's brief tenure there.

I dont think having a relative working in an agency affects NCAA eligibility. Also it seems like the contract was never signed, so no money was exchanged or services provided. Also It seems like Ben was talking to lebron the whole time(not considered an agent)

This kid could be amazing but there are red flags all over the place.  His somewhat passive demeanor on court.  Going to LSU in the first place.  Not making the NCAA even while playing in one of the weakest of the power conferences.  The school saying they won't go to any post-season tournaments at all.

I doubt he'll be another Anthony Bennett but there are warning signs that he's not the kind of competitor you need to truly be a LeBron/Jordan type of star.

Or maybe he's just 19 and not a freakishly mature as LeBron.
