IMO Cousins doesn't respect the organization he works for, and represents. There are few former Kings' players, old timers, present or past that have Cousins respect. The organization has never shown they can all get on the same page, and build a winner, never mind a champion. He acts like a spoiled child because his (parent) organization is lacking. At this point he has no one in the Kings organization to shame him.

If DeMarcus Cousins were traded to the Lakers, San Antonio, Miami, and yes...the Celtics, he would be presented with the opportunity to view multiple banners, meet the legends daily that contributed to those banners, and hopefully would mentor him into acting like a champion. 

The fact is DeMarcus needs to get out of Sacramento before he looks up and he's Derrick Coleman.

Or will try to plead with them with a pouty face.  If they still call a foul, he will go beserk. 

This is not an adult but a child in a mans body. He also does not adjust/learn on the court to different referee styles.   

and worse if you can't, just get angry and play harder like KG.   Refs are fans of the game and will usually give these kind of guys a break eventually

Wild idea, but I think Kings should try to entice KG to coach the team next season.  Cousins will get a whooping.  Even KGs laser stare will get the big kid scared.   Turn around the dreaded Kings org

I agree George Karl is a snake and that organization is so dysfunctional. If Cousins has problems on another team I think it's fair to criticize him but in Sacramemto Cousins should get a free pass imo

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how he does on another team. I think they'll finally realize this summer that it's time to move him. I do have serious concerns about some parts of his personality and character, but I think they can largely be accounted for in a better environment, such as our own. Both organizationally and on the team, he hasn't really had any good role models around him. I bet surrounding him with high character, hard-working positive influences like Stevens, Crowder, Bradley, Smart, etc. will do wonders for him.

Mentioned this before on this forum, but to me he is very Rasheed Wallace like in temperament.  A guy who did very well when he found the right team.  I agree that our guys would work well with him.

Embarrassed to say that I agree with jpotter here, but I do. Cousins is just a young, immature, emotional guy that has trouble regulating himself and lacks guidance/support in SAC. He's not a natural leader because of it, IMO, but can thrive in a better situation. Feel confident he would do very well in Boston, but equally confident that pipedream won't happen.

I think we have a better chance trading for Cousins on draft night---than we do of signing Horford in free agency.....Cousins will probably be Demanding a trade by that point---and we have the best assets, if Kings wanna start all over.

Then we can sign a Big F.A. to pair with Cousins.

True.  I'd blame that more on Rondo and Gay combining for 2-for-12 shooting in the first half.  Boogie had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and only 1 turnover.

But, that's the story of his life.  No matter what he does, his teammates drag him down.
