team seemed to lack any cohesiveness and defensive intensity
just finished watching it
considering we were on national tv,although a blowout not an inspirational  game ,
seemed like a awkward victory
was this just me

I watched only the first ten mins and our offence against Memphis was out of tempo.

Defence is always good but offensively at times we look disoriented; given our current roster, this is normal. Remember we are a mediocre team that is overachieving.

On the bright side, we won, so there won't be any Fire X threads  ;D

I hate to be a guy complaining about a 20 point win (we're getting spoiled a bit!), but it seemed to me that Memphis just self destructed in that 3rd quarter.  We started hitting shots about then as well, and off we went.  Give them credit though for really playing hard in the first half and making things tough on us.  It's good to remember that this same undermanned team just beat Cleveland the other night.

Still lots of room for improvement, but to our credit, as Doc says, you are what your record says you are.  And we're pretty good.

Man are we already this spoiled of fans?
We came out a bit sluggish, it tends to happen after the team has a long break between games.. remember this team strives on the second night of back to backs.
But they were running on all cylinders the second half. Great defense, lights out shooting, great plays to the basket.. even the rookies showed off in the 2 minutes they got to play. Not sure what game y'all were watching?
We crushed a team that just beat Cleveland at home (without Matt Barnes also). Lets not forget Memphis has the 5th or 6th best record during the second half of the year.
I think folks should be proud of this win.

Terrible Celtics game.
Only after Chalmers got injured which hurt the Grizzlies moral and game plan, Celtics were able to pull off.

Yes, it is terrible that we blew out Memphis with ease.
I think I will become a Mavericks fan.

Eh, the first 2.5 quarters weren't much fun to watch, and we pulled away when Memphis was left with basically no PG.  But the pulling away process was fun, and so was getting the young guys some garbage time.

Came out lazy in the first half.  Took charge in the second half when we finally gave the Grizzlies some respect.

You'd like that to never be the case, but it is what it is.  At least we woke up, and at least we won.  The Warriors actually lost to the Lakers recently on a game like that.

Yup.  And the Chalmers injury did help for sure but really it was all about effort and defense, particularly on the boards.  The defensive rebounding was awful effort wise.  This team needs to really put in effort to compete on the boards.  This has happened many times this year, absolutely nothing new.

With Chalmers, maybe we don't blow them out as bad but we still win by 10 at the least.

the margin a victory was appropriate considering Memphis was missing their top 3 players and then lost Barnes as well.  that roster  last night wasn't much above the quality of Phx or Brooklyn

Earlier in the season the team was unable to win in close or ugly games. Despite the final score, that was an ugly win last night.

The thing is, I'll happily take ugly wins when I can get them.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I had fun watching it, its nice to have a team good enough to win handily when they aren't playing well to start it off.

Not sure if anyone was at the game last night but the worst thing I watched was the halftime show. They had a Latin American Salsa dance company who were completely out of sync. It was pretty funny.

indeed, the bolded was a defining characteristic of the celtics last year. they would lead for 3 quarters then fold their tents during the 4th period and other teams would beat them.

this year is entirely different. now, even if the celtics are down in the 4th period, i believe the team can come back and win.

what a difference a season makes.  :)

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

You just never know what to expect when you turn on a Celtic's game anymore. with the Grizzlies down three starters and only nine guys on the floor, who would have guessed this kind of start. but then they get their business together and win by 20!!!
Got to see more Mickey, 3 blocks in one minute!!!
