I kind of agree with you here. When I heard we were going after Reggie Evans  I thought no, let Mickey chill, but if two of Sully/Amir/KO break down in the playoffs, you DO NOT want to have to lean on Zeller for super heavy minutes. Mickey would provide situational versatility

I'm beginning to wonder if it's actually an advantage that Mickey is only 6' 8'' with a tremendous wingspan, rather than being 6' 11'' or so with the same wingspan.  I think opposing players underestimate his ability to block shots because he's not tall for a PF/C.

 That's what I mean. Mickey is a rookie, but he is not soft like Zeller. It would be real nice if he could show he can score, but to be honest, our offense almost always reliant on how our defense is. Mickey can defend at an NBA level. Even if it's 10 minutes, he'd be effective.

that's mean, Zeller has re-earned his spot in the rotation...though Mickey is starting to grow on me...maybe Jerebko's minutes?

we did.  his name was David Lee.  Mickey still isn't ahead of anyone left on the depth chart.

I liked what I saw in his 2 minutes in terms of blocking shots but he's got to show a little more of an all-around game before questioning his minutes.

as for the kiddy brigade at the end of the game, in general, I thought they looked much better.  Rozier actually played like a PG instead of trying to get his points.  Hunter looked smart on D and the offensive end -- even hit a shot finally.  Mickey looked solid blocking shots.  Young looked like he was with the program even though he didn't have any standout plays.

More like 5 seconds.  Assuming 3 blocks per 5 seconds and 48 minutes played, Mickey was on pace for 576 blocks for the game.

ha, ha...that sounds realistic to me.

cut it in half for the lack of opportunities to max out on swats while the C's have he ball...288 seems more reasonable
