So in GM-think will the "gift" of Lee make up in Cuban's mind for the Rondo-Crowder deal?

Since Lee joined them, the Mavericks have lost 4 out of 7. So for now I would say that the "gift" by Ainge pans out for us.

Good individual stats won't fool me into thinking he somehow became a winning player all of the sudden.

Not sure why there is so much ill will towards Lee around here. He didn't fit our system it is as simple as that.
I think he handled his situation like a professional, he supported his team every night when it was obviously paining him to not be on the court.
I wish him the best in Dallas, keep padding those stats Lee, glad to see he's getting some playing time there. Hopefully somebody picks you up next year!

I don't care how many Lee scores so long as Dallas is losing!

Well, he did play a contributing role on a Championship team last year, so I'm not sure it's fair to say he's not a "winning" player.

He was on the team, and he played some meaningful minutes, but Golden State can certainly win that series without him. He doesn't move the needle.

That I can't deny. But does one Championship in a 10 year career make u a winning player? Lee had good stat in New York, but it never made them win. Did they have one +500 season when he played there? I highly doubt it.

And Golden state started firing on all cylinders when Lee went down. I think that's no coincidence.

Not saying he is or was a bad player. I just think that he happens to be a player that looks better than his actual influence in winning a game is.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Goodbye and Good Riddance. He workout to get ready to play for another team. Jordan Mickey playing is more important than what David Lee ever does in the future. Let's see what kinda contract he gets next year as well.

He moved the needle in a crucial playoff game last year. Not sure gsw definitwly win the series without that 4th quarter he had in game 4 or 5 or whatever..
