Never seen anything like SCurry? Remind you of Chris Jackson/ Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, who had a short but brilliant run in NBA?

H can`t be serious......

That dude was nasty! If he played today, he would've been at another level.

I actually had the privilege of meeting Rauf a couple months ago. He's a really, really good shooter, but when I mentioned Curry to him, even he said he couldn't believe how amazing Curry was. Take notes Phil
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Jackson's an idiot if he really believes it.

The "Get off my lawn" stuff from the old crowd against Golden State & Curry, in particular, is pretty sad.

Phil is a grumpy old man, about to have one of his greatest accomplishments surpassed.

No way would S.Curry have been an MVP in the 90s. Curry benefits enormously (as do all guards) from the change in the hand-checking rules. Curry would have been man-handled in the 90s by bigger more physical guards / wings.

Still better than Abdul-Rauf but Abdul-Rauf would have been nasty in today's league. A 25-30ppg scorer. Celebrated as one of the best guards in the league. Perennial All-Star.

can someone post a side-by-side of Curry and Abdul-Rauf. Again, maybe that is what Phil meant.

By the way google says Rauf at 43 (2012) just sank 102 0f 104 shots in the gym at LA Fitness.

It shouldn't detract from Curry's greatness to acknowledge the rule changes to benefit the offense.  Dude is still doing things no one else from his era is doing.

Of course he runs a joke of a franchise.

the biggest mistake he made was believing Anthony was serious about winning. And signing him to that ridiculous contract

Otherwise Jackson is a legend .  I would give him another year with the Knicks.

Okay, I have to break out the Dirty Harry here, just because it popped into my head when I read the bold part:

"Phil, you're a legend in your own mind."
