Ty Lawson to be bought out? should c's have interest ?

Ty Lawson and the Houston Rockets are holding contract buyout discussions.

The Rockets could use the savings on a possibly buyout to clear cap space to acquire other players.

Houston discussed trade-deadline deals on Lawson, but was unable to find a suitable trade. Lawson is still owed $3.2 million on his 2015-16 contract, having already been paid $9.2 million.

The Rockets are $524,000 under the hard salary cap.

Lawson's deal for 16-17 is non-guaranteed.

Lawson will need to agree upon a buyout by Tuesday to be eligible for the postseason.

Would add another play maker off the bench. I know he has had issues , but it would only be for the rest of the year . Give us 3 legit playmakers off the bench with Turner and KO . I think he could have a similar impact as IT off the bench, at least with scoring .

I like him, but I think the years of drinking have aged him far more than he should be at his age (4 dui's going back to UNC). I would pass. Plus he wouldn't want to be the 4th or 5th guard here most likely.
