Is no one in the media going to write about the heated Middleton and Monroe argument they had on the bench/floor last game? It seems like a good story, and I haven't seen any headlines about it so far.

Haven't seen the incident, but otherwise they seem to be on good terms.

See for instance this article from last summer

It's hard to look at this season as anything but a disaster for the Bucks.

  • That's turrible
That's too bad. Part of me was hoping Milwaukee would become one of the younger powerhouse teams this season next to us and the Raptors. Hopefully they get it together next season.

It's Milwaukee. Nobody cares about Milwaukee.

At the start of the season I really liked their top group -- MCW, Middleton, Giannis, Jabari, Monroe.

I still like 'em, they just need a few of those guys to become decent shooters.

Seems like they might  have to move Middleton or Monroe, if not both, though.

Still, future's bright in Milwaukee.

Middleton is their best shooter and defender in the starting lineup. I can't imagine he'll be traded. Monroe seems like a bad fit.

Heard a weird trade deadline rumors that Dwight wanted to be traded to the Bucks. Could've worked on paper. Dwight vaults Milwaukee back in to a top 5 defense Monroe is more offensively creative than Dwight so maybe he would've worked with Harden better.

Clint Capela has experience as a center playing off a center and maybe could be that rare player that you could stick Monroe next too. Wonder who said no?

I think Giannis is their best defender.

The amount of ground he can cover on team defense is really special.

He's got the most defensive potential, but I don't think he's applied his skills well this year.

I agree with you; Monroe is a bad fit when they have so few shooters.

At the same time, Middleton might be easier to move for assets that allow them to build a better group around their core guys.  They already have two bigger wings.  What they need is creative ball-handlers in the backcourt who can shoot.  Middleton seems to me like he may be best playing at SF.

Also, I think Monroe's got a bit of a bad rap this year.  He's been one of their best players.  Like Okafor, he can't change the skillset of the players around him, and yet it seems at times he's been penalized for that.
