first if this was a play to get isaiah open-it is more brad genius,if not and there was one, it didn't work
we have all seen isaiah go the length of court and how he draws fouls and makes them-baskeball being played at full speed with 5 seconds doesn't leave room for error-he made a decision in his mind and came up inches short

Well yeah. He made a decision to look IT off. It was an easy pass to a streaking IT.

Ridiculous that smart is getting any criticism.  They had five ****ing seconds to go the length of the court.  And they were losing to Minnesota.  Get some perspective here people.

Does it take more or less perspective than claiming a 2 pt loss at Minnesota = terrible drafting by Ainge?

I'd always prefer to see a guy get up a shot in that situation rather than second guess himself or overthink the situation and end up with no shot attempt / blocked shot attempt / no-chance heave before the clock expires.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Lebron gets killed for not taking those shots.

Although I think he should of passed,  I like the fact that he had the willingness and confidence to take the last shot.

Agree with this.

Same.  We wouldn't have been able to even have a chance without him.  It showed a killer mentality down the stretch that I like, especially because he was one of two guys that came to play in this game (the other being Crowder).

As I said in another post on here, to me it was a classic Pierce-ish type clutch shot where he just wanted to take it even if there was a pass to be made.  Not that I didn't hate quite a few of those.  Anyways, I just don't think the IT option was so fantastic.

And one thing I really like about this team is the players have a "whole game" approach to talking or looking at the game, especially when it comes time to have knee jerk blame for something that happens at the end of the game.  When Turner was talking after the game, and Avery as well, both were saying the game was lost on multiple earlier plays and the fact that the whole team did not play harder, especially on defense, and credited Smart for having them in the game at all.  I think that is a reflection of their coach and his "Process" approach.
