Mitchell is smart.  Let the Celts beat us by the 3. Play as tight individually as possible but also stay zone.  Don't overchase around screens etc. Don't let Thomas get into the paint.

If the Celts had someone who can work the post and then eventually demand a double team, things open up quite a bit

We have nobody on the team that can score 1 on 1 downlow. then be smart enough to feel the double team and pass

We scored 122 points and lost. I'm not sure that offense was the problem.
Exactly!!

I just don't see how anyone watches last night's game and comes out talking about how the offense wAs the problem. This team got killed on the boards, beat up on second chance points, and gave up over 50% 3PT%.

What this team needed last night was a big who could defend and rebound the ball. That is what came to my mind after watching that game.

We outscored the T-Wolves by 10 points in the paint.

MIN shot much better from beyond the arc than usual and killed us getting to the FT line. Thought MIN hit enough prayer shots that it was going to be a tough night when combined with IT having an off night. That Cs got to the point of a last shot tie/win says something about the team, but they've been that way almost all year.

As for AJ and AJ 2.0, no thanks. Color me skeptical that AJ 2.0 was the object of DA's eye BTW.
