More than Melo's 63, yeah. Kobe's 81 is still much more impressive though, as much as I dislike Kobe.

What a monstrous shame he doesn't have any decent teammates. He should demand a trade to Boston immediately.

Shame for sure.

This guy is so incredibly talented, he has serious potential to finish his career as a top 10 big of all time.

Scary thing is that Karl Towns' potential might be even higher...that is truly frightening.

No way, our whole team is the star. We don't one dominant guy like him. ;)

Anthony Davis joins Shaquille O'Neal as the only players in the last 40 seasons with 55 points and 20 rebounds

It's one of the better games in the modern era.  In terms of being dominant both scoring and on the boards:

Shaq: 61 points, 23 rebounds, 68.6% FG%
Jordan:  69 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 62.2% FG%
K. Malone:  61 points, 18 rebounds, 3 steals, 80.8% FG% in 33 minutes (!)

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

Redshirt:  Cooper Flagg

I don't know CS, I think Town's floor might be higher than Davis' since he has a more traditional modern big man game and maybe a bit higher BBIQ, but Anthony Davis is a supreme athlete.

AD dunk's harder, flies a bit higher and can convert plays that no one else in the league can make. Think it's fair to say that Towns could have a better career or be a more winning player but IMO AD has the higher Ceiling.

Maybe something like Towns is Duncan to AD's Shaq. Duncan goes down with the better career but Shaq had stretches where he was the more dominant player.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I like how Tanguay thought that A. Davis might be the mystery man Danny was talking about. Like, yeah, we are getting Davis for the Brooklyn pick.

Davis' floor? Davis' floor is already best big man in the game. I love Towns, but that is impossible.
