Last night was disappointing but as far as getting blown out in every aspect of the game and losing to a non-playoff team which also doesnt help our nets pick (Lakers TWolves) goes, this loss wasnt that bad.

The positives from last night
1. In limited minutes Mickey look terrific: two blocks and a bucket in 2 minutes
2. Mavs lose and Zaza and Parsons nearly come to blows (two very important players for them)
2a. Mavs loss and Jazz, Rockets, Grizzlies, and Blazers wins puts Dallas at the 17 pick and puts them one game clear of the lottery.
3. Toronto lost last night as well.
4. Game was late game in Utah after all star break. As another poster noted of the top 3 teams in each conference only the Cavs won their first game back.
5. Utah is really good for a non-playoff team and it was in Utah and they are finally getting healthy. This is a pretty good team, which is 8-2 in last 10. (EDIT)

Overall a hugely disappointing game but it could have been worse. Now lets get back on track with a few very winnable games coming up. I dont see any reason we cant win our next 5.

I wasn't able to watch last nights game, but I have it recorded on dvr, is it even worth watching, or is it too agonizingly bad to even try to watch?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

It certainly was not a fun game to watch. I didnt get to see the whole thing, but the parts I was able to see were awful.

The Mavs season is going so much to script that it's hard to believe it will continue.  They still need a few more wins before total collapse can occur, but they have a tentative hold on a playoff spot and are in range to leap more than a few teams to get closer to 10.

There were a couple of times Sully looked really small trying to put up shots in the paint with Favors and Gobert swallowing him.

But my God, can Sully rebound. He was taking boards away from those two regardless of size.

12 17 vs .500 Teams to include Detroit. 2 6 vs Championship Contenders (GST Spurs Cavs Clips raptors, 2 wins vs LA minus Griffin, Cavs win minus Love in the 4th) says it all..

Team needs two max contract front-court players or one if the Nets pik is traded. If it doesn't happen next summer it never will.

Right now its Purgatory my friends.Nothing to see here..

How does the loss hurt our Nets pick?

If anything it helps our Mavs pick (and our own).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Not sure if you are talking about the original post, but I wrote it didnt help the Nets pick.

Basically a loss to a team like Minny or LA can be spun that it is helping our Nets pick.

Also if you look at it as a night on the whole. Then it did hurt the pick because MInny Phoenix and LA lost and Brooklyn won

I watched it all, and it was awful, awful!!! shooting was terrible, defense was a sieve, they were truly unrecognizable as the Celtics. you dodged a bullet, just delete it and save yourself the grief. Oh crap, I hope I haven't peaked your interest!!!
